Are there any plans to change the Warlock ring droprate?
These rings are going for 500,000+ gold now its just insane, can ZOS comment on why ring droprate is so abysmal?

✭✭✭✭✭It seems like ZOS is trying to secretly remove these items from the game. It is also telling that warlock hasn't gotten a VR14 version. Other sets, (such as the shrouded armor set) that have been around since launch have VR14 versions. Why not warlock?
ZOS: Stop being coy about the warlock rings. It is not cute. Fix the drop rates or admit you are nerfing warlock and further reducing our build options. AGAIN.
If you want epic items that are super rare, make real epic gear, Warlock is NOT epic gear. Its a good set for casters and one of the few jewelry sets worth a darn.
Make better stamina based alternatives and rethink some of the other jewelry sets instead of nerfing casters and making it so only people that joined the game when craglorn came out have warlock rings.

✭✭This ring still drops in AA. A guildy got one a few days ago. There are 145 armor/weapon/ jewelry sets in this game. Why are players so hung up on this one? If you are that desperate to use this set, use the VR1 Warlock ring until you find the VR12 ring. I've got 20 of them I'll sell you.

I hear anecdotal evidence from time to time that someone got one of these rings.
but the real question is WHY? Why make the rings rare all of the sudden after being common for so long? There is just no reason for it.
Warlock is a utility set, not a super rare set.
Screwing with drop rates does NOT make a rare set.5 -
Has ZOS specifically stated anything about the Warlock set?
Why make such a powerful caster set and then restrict the droprate so heavily? Atleast let BOSSES have a chance to drop it...
Please change the droprate or perhaps balance other sets to make them viable or similiar to Warlock's mana regen1 -

I've not leveled high enough to use the vr12 sets but I have several pieces of extra vr1 warlock should you need something to get you by until you can find what you're looking for. It does seem like they randomly tweak drop rates of a lot of lootables it could just be a feature of RNG or something they manipulate artificially would be nice to know either way.
I just hit Vr1 on my caster DK so if you wouldn't mind that would be awesome, I'd be willing to pay especially for the jewelry so I can use full seducer with it

I have the whole shroud of the lich set now in v10 (except bracers v9) in legendary and have combined it with 5 piece purple v12 warlock (even ring) and 2 piece of the night mother (belt and flame staff)
As long as i don't stand in fire for too long i love this combo, just did the vet wayrest sewers and it was a blast, i loved it.

✭Hell, I'm still waiting for Warrior Rings, it's just like the Warlock set but it's for Stamina instead, the 5 PC gives you Stamina Flood instead

I am growing to dislike this secrecy policy ZOS is taking with decisions like this. This was never announced in patch notes.

Why? Are they really so embarrassed about the reasons for some of the decisions they make in this game that they have to hide them from us and never explain?
Do they just want us to give up asking and adopt a "daddy knows best" mindset?
Do they realize that secrecy and hidden changes when they have patch notes hurts their public image?3 -

✭Did two runs of AA back to back the other night. 2nd boss in AA (storm atronach) dropped warlock set pieces. what did I get?
1. Sash of the warlock

The only two light armor sets that have neck and rings:
1. Warlock
2. Magicka furnace
Magicka furnace has crap enchants. The only option left if your want your jewelry to provide 3 of 5 pieces to a light armor set is warlock. This is the only real benefit of using warlock. The Warlock "magika flood" is overrated though.
I think the better question is why exclude jewelry from any set? @ZOS please give us more jewelry options.

My Temp Healer uses the combo still except with a V1 ring. While not ideal, I refuse to give in to the anti-capitalist, statist(ZOS), when a V1 in the mix works well enough to do whats needed.If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!1 -

it has an amulet. The downfall to adroitness is that its weapon only scales to level 43. But hey, they gave us boots! *rolls eyes* Warlock can roll with ANY piece of gear except for weapons. This makes warlocks very appealing as you can mix and match more. With adroitness however you are VERY limited sadly. ZoS has done a very poor job in gear choices.
Some sets have every piece of gear while others are very limited. Makes no sense whatsoever. The only thing it did good was force people to only want X set over Y set because X set comes in many different pieces.0 -
Buff the droprate and atleast let bosses have a chance to drop it OR allow other sets to drop jewerly pieces to atleast remain competitive against warlock!0

Rare drops make loot interesting, if the rarity is too scarce compared to how much you want the gear then move on and quit whining2

I'm in the same boat. Got the rings before the Nerf. The reason warlock is so good is the jewelry - it enables much more flexible build combinations. The minute they add crafted jewelry or additional jewelry sets, people will stop using warlock. For example: seducer plus magnus or willows path.1 -

As VR5 I'm using for now 5 pieces of VR1 Warlock set, but all the time I was looking for another blue or purple VR12 Warlock ring and collecting money.
Yesterday I found in guild store VR12 blue Warlock Ring for sell for 430K .... and I buyed it.
Right now I have 2 of them waiting till I will level up to VR12 - rest of pieces I collected already.0 -
