If you are going to play on Console, what Console will you play on?

I know this question has bounced around a few times, but figured I would make a poll to see how many are going to Xbox One or PlayStation 4. I am hoping that with this that we could convince ZOS to make a dedicated area for each console on the forum and also to help create groups, contacts & guilds.

I also added a PC & Console option as I know some may be staying on PC but also play on a console. I did not add a "I am staying on PC" as that is not the point of this poll.

So what do you plan on doing if you are going to play on console?

I normally play strictly on PC but some of my pals who play exclusively on console are pooling funds to get me a PS4 so we can all play together.

Swell guys, these pals of mine.
I wish nothing but joy for everyone.

Damn that is pretty cool of them. I have a few friends that are getting Xbox One's to play this game. They are not PC gamers and don't understand all the benefits of PC gaming.

Now that the details of the console transfer are out and people can do it, I am wondering if the results of this poll from February will be changing.

If I would select a console to play it on, it would be PS4. However all the peasants I am trying to get to convert to PC gaming only use xbox. It would be a lot easier if ESO had the same controls and UI choices as xbox will have in June. Native-supported steam streaming for non-steam ESO customers would sure make it easier too.
End the tedious inventory management game.

I have all systems (even a Wii U) because I'm a fan of gaming and not corporations. However with that said, I will choose getting a 2nd copy of the game (already on PC ofc) for the XB1 because:

    1) XBox Live is a better experience than PSN, not to mention MUCH MORE reliable and secure from the same attacks that Sony suffers from.. from time to time

    2) The XBox One (or 360) are my favorite game-pads/controllers. I like the placement of thumb-sticks for FPS games much, much better and I do like to play ESO in First Person most of the time. Also, I have big hands XD so Sony's controller design is is poorly optimized for me based on that alone. How many times I have reloaded in the middle of a gun fight when I was trying to shoot is pretty damn annoying (hitting R1/R2 at same time, etc..) so I find myself having to hold the controller in an awkward position.

    3) I already have the PC for superior graphics. The differences between XB1/PS4 graphically are just breadcrumbs for fanboys and certainly nothing a real gamer should care about.

    4) I find XBox Live to be home to much better competition than PSN. When I play COD or BF on each of them, I feel like I've entered a "shooting fish in a barrel" competition on PSN. Ofc there are good and bad players on both, but these are my findings both previous gen and current gen.

    5) If botters/cheaters/etc.. ever show up, I know Microsoft would get involved if it became such a problem way before Sony ever figured out what to do about it.

Now, don't get me wrong I do like PS4 but I bought it for certain series that I've been playing through the years on their previous consoles. If someone asks me what system to get, I'll say both! (if you can). However, if I had to choose between them.... the above provides my reasoning which may not be reasons for others but certainly are for me! I also find a lot of PC gamers I know float between XB1 and PC. At least my bunch of friends & contacts.

Edit: I didn't mention Wii U for obvious reasons... and imo Wii U competes with no one but itself. Nintendo does it's own thing and doesn't give a **** what the others are up to for the most part. But yeah, I also own and play Wii U sometimes!

I posted a similar thread asking which console...you may have convinced to go the X1 route...I remember this past Christmas and how long it took Sony to get back online.

So I will probably be looking for an X1 clan in the not to distant future.....

haha as you replied to this I replied to that thread

Hey both are good systems. But, those are my reasons for preferring my XB1 over my PS4 in general. Obviously there are series I love for both and even Nintendo which is why I gave my money to each, but ya. It's very hard to get non-fanboy answers for these things so I understand. Sony or Microsoft don't owe any allegiance to me, nor me to them. They go to me for my money, I go to them for what I find most useful. Straight up business. The same can be said for basically every gaming corporation (and most corporations for that matter). Although I always want to support Nintendo just because... growing up in the 80's and 90's, ya know? Nintendo does its own thing and has survived that way just fine. Plus, they do have the best family & party games.
