Comparatively to Medium and light, we - heavy armor users - are doing even less DPS in 1.6.X with the nerf of resource management "Constitution" which is halved and the nerf to "Juggernaut" 7% melee damage.
And medium is buffed. I am sad to see this thread dying, since I hoped, like in WOW or Warhammer we could DPS as heavy. This play style is currently still no supported by ZOS design team.
My main complaints for 1.6 (besides the nerf on Jewelry enchants) is with some of the new changes to passives and ultimate generation on Nightblades.

New indirect nerf of heavy armor : jewelry enchants. After the Constitution nerf, even less resources from other mechanics. We are not starving enough apparently.
Someone non Casual (top 50) at ZOS need to play Heavy Melee (80%+) Stamina, or run statistics or whatever. Help us get some (realistic) resources to just PLAY THE GAME plz !!!!!
I'm just going to say this: If you were expecting to play a game where Path of Exile meets WoW, you were wrong. I feel your pain. I really do.
If the builds were more open, less forced to use specific paths, I would resub in an instant, despite the lack of content.
The thing is though, they hit a waypoint. Where they realized that balance is hard to achieve. Thus, they are drastically reducing the amount of choice each build has (easier to balance that way).
Every mmo has gone through that, and ESO, while it tried to be open ended, ended up being more restrictive than WoW in its current state.
