Altair✭✭✭Your game will automatically patch itself when you try to launch it, after the patch is released. You don't need to do anything other than let it finish patching, and you are good to go!
You'll see it in the launcher, it will tell you that it is updating the game. Congrats on the rig!Edited by Altair on February 13, 2015 5:12PM0 -
Karmine✭✭✭It is a patch, when 1.6 is out, the Client will download a patch and you can play it.
If you delete the game, the game will have to download the whole game again.
DO NOT DELETE IT. It is just a patch like any patch.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Don't delete the entire game. The 1.6 patch only patches part of the install, so no need to re-download the entire game for a few GB's worth of changes.
I did not pay that much attention to the PTS when it downloaded the 1.6 patch, but it did not seem like it was that big of patch.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Now, if you have a day job, here is a cool trick. Turn your PC on in the morning (or set it to not Sleep in power options that day) and then have the Launcher up and running. It will grab the patch for you while you are at work. Then you can come home to the game and it is ready for you to play.
Plus you avoid being with the other 90% of the subscriber base who wait until they get home from work or school to update the game.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
