Dwemmer chapters don't make much sense...

You have seperate chapters for daggers, swords, axes, etc, but all staff types, including restoration which has its own skill line, all share the same chapter? Someone didn't think this through very well.

Perhaps, for the Dwemer, only the form and size were important for their book, so staves. which all have the same form. are all in one chapter?
Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? Get out of here Sheo, stop bugging me!

Pretty much any reason can be made up, but from a crafting point of view, woodworking is much easier to collect.

All chest pieces for light, medium and heavy are in one book, as are the rest of the armor pieces. I think it is more of having 15 books (or whatever the number is) for all of them, then having 30 or more chapters.

It is very logical from the realism point of view, but yeah, wooworking needs just two chapters and blacksmithing/clothin need a ton.

Um, all staffs are the same for the same motif.

Swords share similar designs, although daggers could have gone in there too IMO.

Armour though is another story, sabatons and shoes should be built differently, as should gaunlets and gloves, and Cuirasses and Robes. That's where the Dwemer motif falls down

ZOS pretty much killed Dwemer and Nirnhoned items with the way they added it. No one wants to pay 4000g per style material or 13,000g for a Nirncrux for 1 item. They should have added them as a single motif like everything else with style stones and nirncruxes available in Craglorn the same way all other style/trait items are obtained.

To the above poster, what is the fun in that? a bit of variety in acquiring these items makes it a bit dynamic instead of the usual way to acquire motif/trait stone. Yes it may be a bit difficult to acquire them but with a bit of time and patience you can acquire what you need. Besides prices you listed is player driven, you can choose to pay them, find cheaper prices or find them yourself.

Please explain. Do you mean that by gathering Alchemy mats you can sell them for lots of gold? Or did you mean to farm mats to make tri-pots to sell and make lots of gold? Guess either way you make lots of gold! LOL
