Would you like to see a solo version of Dungeons?

    Yes.
I voted yes but had not read the full description. It should not be limited to those that have played it before.

I like the idea but I think...
I'm not sure this is a good idea. However if it were implemented it should not be limited to people who have completed the group versions, non vet and vet.

    Yes.
I love the idea forming a group and working within a group can be a massive pain in the rear.
That which we obtain to cheap we esteem to lightly, it is dearness only that gives everything its value.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I'd love to be able to take my time reading quest text, exploring, and thinking about the best way to pull a group. I'd even like to see an additional gradation in your poll, asking whether those who don't want to see solo versions are willing to wait while other group members talk to questgivers, read notes, etc.

I don't like the idea but, if it was implemented, I think...
Lets be honest.....really threads like this begin to point out that we would like to see a real expansion.

So lets say if VR levels didn't exist, the expansion would raise the max character cap level, add more solo and dungeon content as well as more raiding + maybe even PvP content.

    Yes.
    Absolutely.

Leave them instanced with decreased spawns or same spawns but lower hit points. Standard and Veteran.

Some people really need to get over themselves, and instanced dungeon is just what it sounds like. I could take my solo self in there to /dancedrunk for 5 hours at a time every day and it wouldn't have any effect on anybody else.

No. You already have solo dungeons -> Delves, heck even the public dungeons can be soloed.

What I want though is more Delves (instanced only to you), with more difficulties and achievements tied to them.

Sorry but they really are not solo, there are other people in them, better for every area like that to have option to go in just by yourself or with your premade group. Area being scaled to fit size and level of group inside.

Public dungeons however, should stay as they are, also places like Fungal grotto.

I think adding solo dungeon instances is utterly pointless:

    1) We already have TONS of solo content. There is much more solo content in ESO than anything else.

    2) Much of the purpose of solo content is to grow strong enough for group content. Now you would suggest that the group content unlock more solo content? And do you also ride your bicycle upside down and backwards?

    3) We already have 'solo dungeons.' I know some have disagreed already but every zone has standard delves which are solo dungeons. A few players being unable to hack it does not constitute a need to rework the game around them. The point of games is to learn to play better, not make the game easier to suit your limitations.

    4) Regardless of those few who cant hack it, the Public Dungeons can be soloed if you have even a mediocre build. If you are militantly against playing with others to accomplish larger goals, you should either get yourself a build that can survive alone or go back to Skyrim.

    5) People need to realize this is an MMO, that stands for "Massive MULTIPLAYER Online. Joining an MMO for solo play is like starting a chat room dedicated to giving people the silent treatment.

    Zenimax,
We already have tons of great solo content, solo dungeons, solo instances, solo quests, and whole solo zones. Lets stay focused on improving group content while expanding PvE and PvP content for the millions who play MMO's for the MMO content.

If you want to play a single player game then do so. ESO doesn't need more solo dead content.

because craglorn was such an epic success right?

It wasn't, but for different reasons than you think.

Craglorn is based on an instanced world with trials, dungeons and quests. To find 3 or even 11 like minded players in advance, before you do those tasks is extremely hard. There is a reason why all MMOs have group finders these days or get more / less rid of any instanced premade content since finders are also very problematic.

15 years ago when MMO developers started with instancing and "invite me" buttons, gamers were nerds. They treated each other with respect and the outcome wasn't as important as today.
It was a knit community, most had manners and you always found like minded players to spend some time with. A similar community like the club scene, it was a family of friends.

Today however gaming is a very strange hobby, so strange that you have tons of people participating in it and therefore the individual social behavior is less important, as people simply put just hide in the masses.

The nerds from 15 years ago, now have children, full time jobs etc. while our new generation of mostly impatient players is huge, as pretty much every kid owns a PC these days. Achievements and stats grant invites now and allow you to do content, the actual person behind the char however, has become unimportant and therefore you are treated like a rain drop, something totally common that can easily be washed away if someone is tired of it.

Therefore finding a group can take hours in todays MMOs and this ZO didn't understand when they designed Craglorn. They didn't understand that gating content behind a "must have group" which had to be found in advance is a problem and because of this their content so far was nothing but a flop.

If Craglorn would had been group content, but for passer byes like in all the other zones, then more people would had gone there.

Trials should be open for everyone, world bosses that can be accessed by all players, bosses that scale while dungeons should be like delves, open for all.

Craglorn as a basic idea was fine, but the execution was outdated.

It would be nice if many delves/dungeons would have the option to enter as solo, or as a group and if you could basically toggle that and even choose 'number of group members'.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

We already have them. This game needs a combo of solo/group play. Public dungeons are great for players that enjoy group play.

I would rather seem them actually create new zones with lots to do in them than scaling dungeons to solo. If I want to solo a dungeon, I will just go in alone. Plenty of people do this already.
