First Person ONLY PvP Server!

I am of those people that actually like first person and I do a lot of times play pvp in first person, but it's so much harder.

So my suggestion is that you make a First Person Only PvP Server in Cyrodiil.

This will put everyone that likes to play in first person on the same difficult level. It's gonna add a complete new and awesome flavor to the game. I can imagine that there are very few players that play in first person because of the disadvantage comparing to 3rd person. But something like this will give everyone a chance to try it for real in a pvp environment.

I think it would be so much fun and immersive with something like this.

What are everyone thoughts about something like this? Ideas, suggestions?

Have you played first person on 1.6 pts? It's awesome, but it can rarely be used cus 3rd person is just better. That's why something like this would be great.

Thank you for bolding something for extra emphasis. My reading skills are quite lackluster these days so simplyfing your point in overly dramatic statements backed by no reasonable information really drives your point home...Just because you put something in bold doesn't make it true.

Immersion in this game has only ever taken choices, decisions, and information away from the player. Taking these things away will never be the future of gaming. Not games that involve at least competitive aspects. You want immersion, roleplay, whatever you play games catered towards that. They are single player or non pvp multiplayer games.

Real game immersion will only obtained with first person. With the Occulus coming soon there is gonna be more and more first person games.

Competitive is something it will definitely be. The rules of the game will only be different from 3rd person. I only have an open mind for gaming, while people like you don't.

At first I thought this was a proposal for a deathmatch battle royal everyone free for all PVP server. I got moist.

The deathmatch extravangza PvP server would be awesome, but everyone has to be naked or my immersion is ruined

This sound awesome, this would give an entirely new feel to the game. I know you can run in first person any time you want, but to PvP in first person when others are not you are in disadvantage so you dont do it. In a server like this you would do it and try it for sure!

I like how someone suggests something that would be totally optional, would increase difficulty for those who indulged, wouldn't affect the rest of the game in the slightest, might bring more players into PVP, and the thread gets overrun with immersion hating cry babies.

Immersion? Screw that stuff, let's just run around with stick figures on a giant grassy field, actually screw the grass, that's too immersive, let's just have a giant blank checkerboard to fight our stick figures on. Skills? Nah, that's too realistic and stuff, let's just play rock paper scissors during battles.

The hatred for immersion in this community is hilarious.

Exactly this.
Such a server wouldn't hurt anyone.
It sounds cool, I doubt I would play it usually but who knows, certainly give it a try.

While we're at it make a server for newbs that like to stand in red AOE 's <sarcasm> because they play in first person and can't see the ground.

I think it's a great idea, OP.

I don't see how having one server where first person was forced would affect anyone who wasn't interested in it.

At least a trial server would be nice.

As someone who always played my single player ES games in first person, I would love a first person only server. It would be ridiculous and very difficult but it would be fun for me.
