Our trial gear in 1.6

Hi i have not seen a post about this topic so i hope to get some answers.

Like many people i have done many trials hoping for certain missing pieces to drop.
I managed to get the warlock and wise mage pieces and when i had the right gear to do CoA i even got the valkyn scoria set completed.

Now this would all be very nice if it was november and 1.6 was not around the corner, but i kind of live now like my days are counted and try to make the most of the gear i have while it still works.

I have noticed a few friends of mine don't want to do the trials anymore because for example the spell crit will be nerfed on the wise mage set.
This is a shame because they are fun to do. I even did BC six times last night to try to get the maw of the infernal head that of course did not drop for me.

Does anyone know what 1.6 means for this hard to get BoP gear like trials gear and undaunted sets?
Have we wasted our time and legendary mats to get and upgrade them or will some of the sets still be good?

Also does anyone know if new sets will drop from the trials when 1.6 comes, maybe with different effects?
Beesting, Bosmer Magica DK, AD EU, crafter
Slager, Dunmer Magica DK, DC EU, pvp
Farmer, Dunmer Magica DK, AD EU, trials build

Every major patch looks like the end of the world but somehow i just cannot stop playing.

I'm pretty sure they listened to the feedback. They HAVE to do something to make the trial gear worth equipping again, and a champion point is NOT a valid argument. Wait patiently for the patch notes and let's see how good they claim to listen :)

Personally, I think that if you enjoyed getting it then it wasn't waste of time.

And also I would love to have old high tier sets nerfed a bit monthly until they are just normal sets so they can add new sets without making them have to be stronger than current best ones.

Else we may end up with ilevels like in World of Warcraft, each time they add content they have to add better items to keep people happy. Making huge power gap.

I dont think they will improve the trial gears again ;)

In 1.6 it is anyway better to stack spell/weap dmg like crazy. At least for PvE

Then they better be prepared to lose a lot of subscribers, as a good portion of people interested in end game PvE lose all incentives to do end game PvE.

Think about it like releasing an Expansion for normal MMO... all your hardcore raiding gear that you spent 4 months getting is now worse than Green items in newest zone.

I do remember how every single Expansion in every MMO made them lose millions of subscribers.

Except no new content & raids is released, where we could grind new gear.

And even when that expansion releases, it doesn't make your hard earned gear worse than the other items pre-expansion.
Your level 60 epics didn't become worse than the level 60 blue/green items.
