I have seen many to say this, B2P model will fail and nobody plays this game anymore. because "future, cash shop content"

So fellow forumers, what items/things are the Ultimate mmo killers, and why?

There is nothing on the cash shop that would ruin anyones expereince, but only things that would enhance it. People are freaking out about this for no reason. This has happened in other games but the cash shop is just fine. Also they got bills to pay if they want to keep the server alive and generating new content.

You pay a monthly fee and everyone is okay with it cause it's part of "the plan" but you tell everyone you get the same game but it's free and gamers freak out. Zos is agent of chaos.

Within the current definition of what ZoS plan to sell (cosmetic and convenience), the greatest risk is if they start selling extremely rare items. Items that you could theoretically find in-game, but for which the chance is so low it's not worth waiting for. Consider, for instance, an armour/jewelry/weapon set that's very powerful, but nearly impossible to complete because the drop rates of one particular item is extremely low. Now, sell that item in the crown store............
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

Point that arose on another thread, Crown Store Potions, do they scale up to VR14 and if so are they better than crafted potions.

    Has anyone tried them.

Hoping they aren't since we don't want Pay 2 Win in game.

Those potions can be better then the ones found/bought ingame. But they are not better then potions created by a lvl 50 alchemist.

    So no.

The guar does ruin it. Because a small guar running horse speed with a fat DK on it's back just looks plain stupid.

P2w items will appear sooner or later. There will be some at release like the potions and level buff. But more will come. Like level 50,etc. It is normal.

Thanks, that's a relief, especially as my alchemy is maxed out :grinning:

Are you calling me fat? Why you...! I'm just... savouring sweetrolls before ZOS takes them away. As you all should be!

I agree of course  But instead of savour them in your fat belly is it better to put the in the fridge (or bank)

Honestly, marriage and stuff that encourages ODers (online-daters in the sense of people that you find on IMVU-Second Life games) to join.

OP endgame and P2W stuff in the shop in general, as it takes away the challenge. Items with minor boosts (Accessories that increase magicka/luck/w/e in small amounts, extra powerful health potions etc) are okay, but when a newbie can buy an item that takes a long-term player a few weeks to get it aint right. I expect there will be some P2W items in the shop, as most MMOS go in that direction eventually for the sake of income, but hopefully it will be mostly small boost items, and nothing that allows a newbie to nuke everyone in sight.

I mean I'm a newbie myself, and while I don't mind a pretty item, I'd rather work hard for a good set of armor spells and weapons- it's part of what makes the game fun.
