This is Q&A from Paul Sage two days ago. To me...and maybe its just me...but this absolutely screams exp boosters coming to the cash shop. If that happens....well....i mean yeah......
Q: There are a number of potentially controversial possibilities for cash-shop purchases including forward camps, Nirncrux, crafting motifs, or upgrade materials. What are some of the main concerns and internal rules that you will consider when choosing what types of items will or will not be allowed in the shop?
Paul Sage : "Obviously, we want to offer items people want and that there is a demand for. What we don’t want to do is only offer the best items – items which grant players clear numerical advantages over other players – on our store. When we talk about convenience items, what we generally mean is items which allow people to reduce the time it might take to acquire something they want. I think cosmetic items speak for themselves. We know there is a fine line, but there is also a line where we feel like if you buy something from the store it should have value."ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hello everyone!
As part of Update 6, we are introducing the Crown Store: an in-game store where you can purchase customization and convenience items. The store offers consumables you can use to save time on in-game activities (like experience and crafting boosters, for example) along with new customization options including costumes, exotic pets, and mounts. When the Crown Store launches, we’ll have a number of items available immediately, but what about the future? Tell us what sorts of goods and services you would like to see offered in the Crown Store – you can be as general or specific as you’d like.
Taken from my earlier post. I interpret this as p2w. If I don't pay money I will in fact be behind. Other folks might not think the same way about it, which is fine. The OP is correct imo .

They clearly said items in the crown shop would not be an better than items sold in game by vendors but repair kits That repair every broken item in your inventory are far superior to kits that only repair one item within a certain level range.

You mean I can actually get a repair kit that scales with me instead of losing it's usefulness while I level?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?
What? I can have potions that do the same thing and don't become vendor-trash after 3 levels??!?!?!
HOW DARE THEY!
Seriously guys, you're nit-picking. Staaaaaaahp.

It has nothing to do with the repair kit scaling, it has everything to do with the repair kit will repair any and all items in your inventory when used.

The plus membership is more p2w then those items.
Wear are the best items in the game for sell...sadden and this post was misleading and got my hopes up.
WraithAzraiel wrote: »LordSkyKnight wrote: »Anything that you can buy in the cash shop allowing you to circumvent standardized mechanics of a game is paying to win. It doesn't necessarily have to be top end game gear to be called pay to win. Something as small as allowing you to level faster or revive yourself or repair your items is circumvented the standard systems in the game which I consider paying (buying cash shop items) to win at the game. The whole goal of the game is to level up and find gear to make you stronger. Thus items you purchase that allow you to level easier or faster is in fact paying to win.
In my opinion.
So being max level makes you win? You do realize that there's more to the game than being V14 right? Used to be you could get to V14 in hours of grinding rather than days of questing. Didn't mean those people were any good at their class.
So what's 10% faster for people that are questing? Time saved. It's not like you hit V14 and you instantly get a set of Trial gear tailored to your play style.
There's plenty of V14's that suck at their class and are still grasping how to play. Soooo how is max level winning again?
To go in the same direction, I do a lot of PUGs recently to clear undaunted pledges and you'd be surprise how many V14 have never stepped in a vet dungeon...

The following list of prices come from this thread http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/149910/crown-store-items-pictures-and-more on the PTS forum
Go through read the item descriptions we were told crown store items would be just like what we buy from vendors and well they are better then what we can get in game. I would accuse ZOS of lying about that too but hey I am sure they have a valid excuse for misleading everyone.I've finished collecting all the screen shots and details from the crown store. It's here which I'll try to upload some images so if you don't want to visit my site you can see here.

OK, but it's like a couple of hundred gold to repair to gear, if you do it sensibly, so not much of an advantage.

That's beside the point. It's "only" couple of hundred now. Better is better no matter how small the difference is and according to their own words, it's should not be better. And cash shop game hasn't even started yet. Remember, the most scary part of cash shops is the possibility to slowly creep towards more difference between in game and cash shop. And excuses like "it's only" do not help in preventing this from happening.
Any kind of difference or advantage can be excused with "if you do it sensibly". Do you really want to make excuses for someone who has already proven does not stick to their own promises? I guess you do, as you probably see it as helping. I am just wondering who or what you are helping with that?

Still don't see the point about repair kits since... who the hell uses repair kits!?
TP in town, repair, TP back to instance. And honestly since you can faceroll any instance these days, who needs to repair anyway?
