How do you feel about the guild stores? What changes if any would you like to see? Please vote and leave a comment below.

ZOS can you please comment on whether or not your are at least talking about guild stores and how they can be improved if at all?

I would like to see a faction wide auction house.

Guild vendors are horrible. First you have to travel between 100 of them in multiple zones just to maybe find something you are looking for. Second, all guild vendors fall into two categories...empty or they have the exact same items as every other vendor. Prices vary wildly on the same vendor for the exact same item.

I like the thrill of the hunt for rare items and good prices on materials.

I like the guild stores but would like some changes. Please comment as to what changes you would like.

I like the system. It's unique in a day and age where anything unique in an MMO is hard to find.

It needs a search bar though. Even if it means putting an alphabet in a box for console players w/o a keyboard to scroll through.

I sell a lot of things. I don't see where people are having a lot of trouble spending gold at the traders.

I agree (and good luck finding what you're looking for), plus there's the problem of not being able to sell unless you join a guild or are prepared to spam the chat channels. The economy is totally broken, not least at lower levels (as the guild trading is often focused on higher levels), and an effective public trading system is needed.

But this topic has been beaten to death again and again in one poll after another. Why again? You're just going to get the same opinions from the same people.

Yeah I looked and ran into threads that only talked about them but I did not see any polls. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on the system in place in this game. Also I am wanting to find out if any changes are in the works or if ZOS is going to wait and see what console players have to say and change accordingly.

I hate the guild store system and very seldom use it in favor of deconstructing everything I get or giving stuff away to people in my main PVE guild.

I see they are changing the game to a kind of Free to Play where they want you to buy items in order to enjoy the game more.

Sorry folks... that isn't going to cut it.

It seems that a lot of people have quit ( including me ). I got an email today telling me about the new system.

I guess they figure that since we paid for the game and can now play without a subscription we will come back.

NOT UNTIL THEY HAVE AN AUCTION HOUSE.

No way will I play again until they have one.

I like crafting and it is impossible to find the items you need ( well certainly it is a big waste of time looking in 429 stores trying to find something ).

And it is also difficult / impossible to sell stuff when guilds only have 500 members and you can only put it up for sale in a guild store.

Guild Stores suuuuuccccckkkkkk.

Sorry Elder Scrolls. I did like the game very much but the absence of an Auction House drove me away.

I would like to see a faction wide auction house.

The current system is basically a global auction house with an interface that takes over an hour to navigate (visiting each vendor). Zeni seems to focus most of their efforts on creating activities that are long, tedious, and pointless.

I would like to see a faction-wide auction house. It's just more practical. Traveling to & fro trying to find the gear you need is not enjoyable whatever spin some of you try to put on it. At the very least, let the guild store NPCs double as a vendor. They litter the landscape & really offer nothing to those not in that particular guild.

Currently, guild stores are too spread out. Limit travel by moving guild stores by the wayshrine in major cities. Allow multiple guild stores to be picked from the same NPC. This will maximize guilds to search in less time.
Revamp the UI to incorporate features from AwesomeGuildStore (like saved searches), Shopkeeper (so I can see what I sold), and Advanced Filters (to quickly create specific searches)
Set an inventory minimum to bid on a guild store.

Would prefer faction wide auction houses. We all know guild stores and vendors are just substitutes for AH anyway, only they're much more inconvenient. You have to travel everywhere to browse and only certain guilds get good traffic.

In my opinion it's a failed experiment and ZOS should develop AH.

If the game sells well for consoles the demand for AH will only grow.

I love Rift's AH by the way and would love it if ZOS copied it.

Yeah I really like the way Rift had their AH set up. I think that their AH is one of the best I have experienced ever.

I am hoping that when the B2P people try to use the guild stores they will also speak up and ask for a faction wide AH.

Better search options for the stores. However, having a couple addons handles this. I can find what I need with a few keystrokes. If I need to go through multiple stores to find what I need specifically, well, that just means its harder to find. Nothing wrong with a little bit of a time sink. The game doesn't need to be TOO convenient.

I don't want a faction wide AH cause it's then server wide as an faction alt can play the markets.

I would like these npc's to allow me to sale my junk as in act as a vendor in addition to their current role.

Placement should be closer to crafting stations in towns.
Other than that...no other changes or suggestions

Most of the problems I have with the guild store are UI related- and addons got rid of most of them. I love the idea of them... and in fact wish they'd take it further, especially in Cyrodiil.

The compartmentalized nature of the economy systems like guild stores, guild traders, etc. May be somewhat more inconvenient than a AH but it has been a saving grace for the game economy. Most game economies would have been completely wrecked from the onset of a duping glitch like this game had at launch.

Not to mention an AH also makes a gold sellers job that much easier, which means they would have a much larger negative impact on the game economy. I'm fine with sacrificing a bit of convenience for a system that keeps the overall economy as safe/stable as this one does.

I'm not sure what guild stores some of you are going to but I usually find what I'm looking for within the first 3-10 guild stores I search. With awesome guild store that usually means it takes 5-10 mins to find what I'm looking for.

I would like to be able to sell more than 30 items in a guild store. I have joined two separate trading guilds just so I can post 60 items in the guild store, and it's still not enough.

Also, I would like to know what item was sold when collecting gold from my mail, and not have to use an addon to do it.

As far as the guild trade vendors, I am all for them. I like the concept; I feel it works fine. Although, it's sometimes unfortunate that some cities have entire vendors with empty stores. I've started banking and crafting in a particular city just because of the better guild traders. And abandoned my favorite city because its vendors were poor. But I do like being able to shop around and find a bargain.
