OK guys, it is really driving me crazy. The huge fps drop near pvp battles. I've tried so many things now to improve the zerg performance, but nothing really worked. The performance outside of the huge battles is awesome (70-90 fps) so it's not a general issue.

Has anyone of you figured out something that really boosts fps in these situations? I don't care if this makes the game look ugly since i'm already playing on pretty low settings.

Please don't post .ini snippets if you are not sure that this is really helping, i already tweaked my .ini file and it did not really help. I need some experts here.

Please help me, thanks.

Tbh all that can be done upgrading your CPU - ESO PvP is extremely CPU-reliant.

Unfortunately this is not really an option. I'm running an intel core i7 4700mq @ 2.4 GHz. This is of course a laptop cpu and i know it's not super high-end but it should get the job done. I'm sure there is some tweaking that can be done.

I blame ZOS for only having a crappy single threaded 32bit executable.

    Download cpu-id cpu-z and hw monitor & gpu-z
Leave them running in the background.
Check temps are within limits and not throttling.
Check ram% and how near to virtual memory use you are.
Performance monitor or task manager for this.
Kill any and all unnecessary tasks to claw back ram if you are anywhere near the limits.
Check all cores are operational and none parked when heavily loaded.
Shut down any and all background network tasks that update invidia/java/flash etc etc automatically. You will be surprised how frequently such things can kick off and sap network bandwidth you desperately need with more players on screen and within range.

Just some things to check off the top of my head anyway.

Nah, this doesn't change anything. Most of these things are already done :/
