What about people who buy crowns from the cash shop, what would you say how long should they get access to who supports the game?
IMO people who buy the game already support it, so no different before or after changes really.
Elitist much? Are you worried non-subscribers will make the game too low class for your liking?

While I don't believe the B2P crowd should be excluded from most portions of the game, will there be a "VIP room" for those who actively contribute \ sub to the game?
Edit - changed F2P to B2P.
If you subscribe to a magazine does that mean you should get some special room to read it in since you supported that magazine? They already stated that you get bonuses for being subscribed.

My subscription to magazines provides content not available to people who don't subscribe. There's a reason people pay for The Economist while most other publications can't give their content away.
This is what I'm asking. Is there content for subbers, or is the only advantage a 10% XP boost in an advancement system that has no end?

Not so, you get to USE it while you are subbed but you don't get the DLC for free. You basically rent it.

The sub is not just for the 10% boost. You will have as a subber access to all content now in the game and any new DLCs added later to the game. If people who do not sub don't buy the new DLCs, they will not see that content and you won't see those players, so obviously there is a pay gate to separate some amount of people from different areas in the game already.
Your idea is interesting but to expect ZoS to create zones which are ONLY for subbed players to the exclusion of anyone else even if they are willing to pay for access to a given area, would be a use of dev time and resources which they would not realistically ever undertake unless they had substantial reason to believe said investment would pan out as a significant incentive to increase sub sales. I seriously doubt that will happen.
As is, even if they did you would not have any guarantee that the people subbed and accessing those areas are going to be any different than non subbed players as @Slurg rightly points out. This is an MMO after all, not a magazine sub we are talking about.
