Do we have an idea yet when 1.6 will hit the live servers?

As the title says wondering if there is some kind of idea when 1.6 will hit the live servers. I assume they wont wait until March 17th and the relaunch to be sure there are no hiccups between PTS and the live servers. Would be a tad embarassing if at the relaunch nothing worked or there was some kind of major gamestopping bug. Dont want to drive the new people away the first day.

My idea is 1.6 should get the patch no later than two weeks from today. That gives 3 weeks between the live servers getting it and the March 17th relaunch. Plenty of time to address anything major.

They have said multiple times it will be before March 17th. I'd also guess 2-3 weeks prior so they can (hopefully) get kinks/balance worked out.

Yeah, I would say its likely to be ahead of "relaunch" (I'm assume you meant the switch to buy 2 play model) so they can patch inevitable bugs that come to live versions ahead of time.

Right ya the relaunch. The game is relaunching as ESO:TU on March 17th. If there are major bugs and stuff when these new people come in its going to be bad press. They need to get this on live servers asap. We cant wait until March.

They need to fix the detect radius of the NPC at Castle/towers in PvP. :(

I don't think that they know when it is going to be on Live, either.

Better later than sooner, so many things are bugged and stuff is imbalanced.
I really hope the patch does not go live before March 17th. Otherwise we are big time screwed.

I'm guessing March 16th. That is a Monday after all when updates usually go in....

They just pushed out 1.6.1 to the test servers with a ton of fixes and some more changes. I have already seen improvements from the original 1.6 vs. 1.6.1 so they are making good progress. I never had a high level character, so there are some things that I am not as informed about as others, but from reading the patch notes for 1.6.1 there are things that some people were happy with and of course like any update things they were not.

Based on the massive list of patch notes, I wager that we are still 2-3 weeks away form it going live. They definitely need to have it out before 3/17 so it is not a mess at launch. This game will have an opportunity to redeem itself on 3/17 and they cannot afford to mess this up.

What is odd about this game, is that they will have yet a 3rd attempt at reviews come June 9th when the console version comes out. So in short, this game will have reviews from the original launch, the new version on 3/17 and then again on the console launch on 6/9.

Be surprise if it is that date cause some bugs and such will only be found when something is live, the crown store may not be active till a small patch triggers it.

But would be a nightmare if they release it with only one day of live testing

Sounds like a good way to mess up a redo

    Hopefully never.

Well remember too new people coming into the game wont know it was ever like it is now. My opinion is ZOS is not worried about losing current subscribers when they assume more new will come in to replace the old.

That would be an amazing way of thinking about the customers that generated the steady income stream from the whole past fiscal year!

Sorry, but your post caused the voice in my head to sing that song.

But, back on track to the topic of this thread. It would be good if they could get Update 6 out the week of the 23rd to allow enough time for putting out fires before March 17th.

What I am saying is they know with this re-balancing some people are simply going to move on. What they hope is more new people come into the game than older players unhappy with the changes (nerfs whatever) will leave or stop paying.
