Is Craglorn quests soloable?

I just started some exploring/questing in Craglorn for the first time after finishing Cadwell's Gold and all the Public dungeons. Seemed like a natural progression to go there.

I noticed a big jump in Enemy damage output, and also enemy group size. I even got one shotted by a random enemy Archer that did 1970 DMG. (Yes i only walk around with around 1800 health usually, since my build is mostly based on kiting.)

Most of the stuff was no problem to handle until i met groups of Mixed classes. Melee, sorcerers, Archers etc. Hard hitting ranged enemies gets me fast.

I understand it's supposed to be harder, but I can't really figure out if the whole zone is designed to be done in a small group? even the quests? I like that it's hard, but sometimes a bit too hard for solo questing, so the question is?


Do something else if I feel like soloing a bit? and wait for more Content to be released.

Or buff up my Health and defensive abilities and try again?

    It's designed as a group zone, yes. But it is soloable. I do it all the time...

    You may want more hp...

    Also interrupting the archers when they are preparing that big shot is vital. They will raise their bow into the air and glow red. It takes a few seconds to charge, but it hits hard.

    Also, what skills are you using? You should have some good healing, cc, shields, whatever, to help your survivability.

    Some things are a major challenge solo, as they are intended for more people.

    I would rate the general difficulty of craglorn to be about that of pre nerf vet content.

    To clarify, yes you can fight mobs solo but you cannot do the quests.
    To complete most of the quests in Craglorn you must be in a group.

    Well, to get past the four man locks, maybe.

    But yes, the quests require a group to access

    Craglorn is doable for 1-2 people who are good players. BUT, Craglorn is a group zone only. It should not be solo even if some players can solo.

    But I don't disagree with you. Its just that my idea of what is challenging group content seems to differ from ZOS's, barring 1.6 of course.

    Found it quite impossible to solo even the outside mobs with DW/Bow. But with 2H (Rally + Brawler) it's a walk in the park. Can do Lower Craglorn delves easily. Upper Craglorn mobs and most world bosses, but not delves - those are very hard or even impossible to solo.

    To solo the area you need decent heal and shield skills. Also bear in mind that with solo play mobs will rip your gear into pieces in no time. Found that completing an average delve in LC can get my gear around 50% (that's after 15-20 minutes of play).

    graglorne = a very nice place
    i like the dev team to make more maps like graglorne in future dlc ,
    but ratio of content need to be
    60% solo places ( place skyshards in them ore 1 random food -regent recept ore gear weapon recept)
    40%multy group ore mp places ( place some special dungeon armore /weapons in them + some random extra stats on them = if you play mage =70% drop to the clas , same to other clases )
    then 1 new arena whit diferent chalange levels
    1 solo a: against npc b:pvp
    2 mp a: against npc b:pvp

    ( very sad imperial city -cirodile - graglorne not build with good ratio , so al type of gamers can enjoy new content in the first place )

    hijena
    other type of dog ( black/blue type)
    crocodile
    scorpions ( normal type )

    50%
    some groups if them are not whith to many
    gargole 1 ath a time

    realy hate wasp ( how many spawn outh of the nest )
    big elec. antrochs
    more then 1 mermaid
    to big groups of enemy ( hope whith vr 16 we can live a bit longer to larger groups )
