How soon you get bored with Justice System?

Well, I wanted to be fair and give it a try when EU characters get copied on PTS. And now I tried JS with my characters. Not a big difference. I still get bored after half an hour. Is it only me? Or you get bored of JS too? First I thought "maybe it's because it's just a template" and "no need to rush". When you try it first time you can spend half an hour or hour by stealing&killing, but that's all. After it you need rob npc only to level skill line. I can't find anything entertaining in it. Maybe I missed something? I tried to steal from npc's, kill them, rob their houses and lockpick merchant's chests.

Also, with this skill line we need 20 extra skill points.

So, how soon you get bored with JS? And if not - why?

Besides what I needed to do for the Thieves guild quests i've never been much into stealing in any of the other Elder Scrolls games. I didn't kill friendly or neutral NPC's outside of Dark Brotherhood quests either.

I know many people wanted the justice system but it's not something i've personally got any interest in.

The only reason i'm happy it's here is because i'm hoping it's a precursor to DB and Thieves.

As for the justice system itself, it doesn't interest me.

Even from an RP aspect, my Nightblade is a Ranger so wouldn't be killing NPC's or robbing things in towns.

It is something taht is going to be interesting for about a month or so. In the first couple of weeks everybody will try to max this out to get achievements and see what it is like.

Then it goes back to normal. There will be a few players using it for 1 or 2 of their toons and then we will forget about it.

Then some nw players will come and they will find it intersting as well for some time.

I played Rift with it's Planar Attunement (very similar to our Champion System). I can say there is no "I'll get bored of it" but there will be a slow down of how hard Players try to level it fast. Probably the first month or two Players will be doing everything they can to level it asap. Once they get most of the Stars they want up to between 3.5-5% they will notice a sharp decline in how much gain they get per additional point and realize it's meant a long, slow advancement and maybe just enjoy playing and not worrying when the next CP is coming along.

Once you got well over 1000 points in Rift's PA, it took a long time to get the next point as it wasn't a static value for each. And once you're deep into the Stars the next point is even less useful, thus further reducing your "need" to gain more at a quick pace. The Champion System is new so will generate a ton of buzz when 1.6 hits Live, as any new "content" would.

well if they brought justice system together with either thieves or DB and quests for those guilds it would be meaningfull, now there is no real reason
also the guard-player-style-thingie (whats it called again) is not with it as far as I know so thats also a letdown
it will be implemented in steps like champion system I guess so next year it will be more interesting...

there comes a point where there is so much to do...that unless you played 12 hours a day, you can't do it all...at least not for many months.

I personally am focused on getting my pvp level to 10 and am skipping undaunted for now.

I also do about 6 crafting writs every day or so, but lately I've been missing as our guild has been running pvp pretty hard.

With the justice system...and presumably more content coming, I'm sure there is a tipping point where ya can't do it all, at least not super fast.

So, what's the hurry? Take your time with the new justice system. If you rush through anything (leveling, undaunted, crafting, etc) you'll realize that after you're done, you're bored with the game, then you come to the boards to say how the game sucks.

I personally can't wait for the justice system...and the eventual pvp behind it. Just something else to try when tired of pvp, pve, and crafting.

Bored? Haven't gotten bored with anyhting in the game yet, and me on eight characters...
I doubt I'll get bored with the justice system either. Especially not as more and more content will slowly dribble into ESO...

Log in to PTS shoot off a aoe by mistake killed by guards before figuring out wth happened, remembered that there was some BS about this in the patch notes, then instantly bored with this joke of a pointless system.

I had fun with the JS, though I didn't put more than an hour in to it. Not that I didn't have fun or got bored, but I knew this was test and all the results were being wiped anyway.

Yep. I personally don't like to rush through any content. At least not when I see that content first time. But with justice system I get bored really fast. And if you can't wait for it you can try JS on PTS.

I have no intention of killing friendly/neutral NPCs outside of the PTS.

Meanwhile, I will steal stuff I come across when I'm doing something else, just as I did with other TES games. I'm not going to say "I'm going to spend the next hour doing Justice System stuff". I'm just going to play the game and the JS will be one more factor to consider.

One of the skills, less stamina cost for sneaking, should only be leveled for a character who uses sneaking in combat.

As for "how soon I get bored":
    On PTS very fast...
On live not at all. That's because on live I have use for the money. And my dedicated crafting chars could use some clothing.

    As for entertainment:

It all depends on how much NPC mayhem I have to witness. If it's minimal, I won't become bored with the Justice System as I will not partake in the NPC killings. If it's rampant, then I will avoid towns and cities for a while until everyone gets it out of their system.

As far as stealing, well, it may nor may not happen, it all depends.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I'm enjoying it very much. It's much more fun when you have an active bounty. Fleeing the guards, breaking cc/sprinting/dodge/hiding behind walls. Having multiple guards chasing you, thinking you have lost them only to run face first into a 3rd one. All of them yelling and screaming at you lol. I am having a blast with it.

Not paying off your bounty is where the fun is.

Plus the idea of being able to find rare motifs which will be more valuable due to this system adds a flavor of risk/reward.

I won't get bored with it for quite a while if ever. But that's just me.

For me.... its more of a subtle addition. I'm not going to start steeling stuff with all my characters but now I won't be looting everything. The system will be more of a game enhancement not a game changer.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

There is always crap to iron out. Nothing will ever be perfect. They can push this live and work on it until Fall because we dont get any new content at all until well after the console launch. All this balancing etc for PVP will never be perfect anyways.

There is already mass hysteria. If they go live with a bunch of bugs and glitches, the mob will go into a frenzy and make things even worse. There will be bugs anyways of course, but give the PTS some time to do it's job. They have already found a bunch of problems and fixed then with 1.6.1

It's a major overhaul and it's only been on the PTS for a week. Give it some time.

    I can wait longer.

The longer they keep it on the PTS the better it will be.

And the longer they keep it on the PTS the more mats I can grab from towns before I have to stop taking them.
