Subscribing after Game cards

For the entire time, I've been using game cards to play ESO. With the upcoming move to subscription free playing and the ESO premium, I'm left with a question.

My current game time expires in 88 days, so it will fall into the ESO premium time, and I do wish to continue subscribing for the premium serving, but what I'd like to know is if I enter my credit card details now and select a subscription plan, will that plan start as soon as my existing game time ends, or will it bill me and screw me up with a subscription on top of existing time (and cause me a whole mess of trouble).

Or will it be best to just wait til my game time ends, and then subscribe?

Cheers Guys

Current game time should be used up, then your card will be hit with the subscription.

However... there is typically a small/initial charge on your card when you apply it to an account to verify funds... and that the card is active. This is usually refunded right away. A day or two at most?

Might only be a few bucks, but it has been a while since I've seen that initial charge.

The authorization hold is currently $1 (or rather 1 of your currency, whatever it is).

If you paid for 88 days already, then the CC wont kick in before those 88 days are over.

Pedantically, what you do when you take out a subscription is to provide a payment method that will be used to refresh your game time once its expired, so any game time you have outstanding from whatever payment method you used before will be used up before another payment is required and then be taken from your sub. details.

We just wanted to hop in and confirm that this is indeed correct :). The authorization charge is $1 and usually drops off your account pretty quick, though it varies by financial institution.

Thanks for the swift answers everyone!
