Idea to adress the 2 slot per Pet problem of the Sorc.

A lot of the complaints stem from the fact that you have to use 2 slots to use them effectively.

How about you change the ability use in such a way that you have to summon them once and if you switch your bars the pet go idle. At the Idle stage they can't do anything and you don'T get possitive effects from them but can still be killed.

And if you switch back again they will awake, if they died you would have to resummon them.

Thoughts?

No, this won't do.

It needs to be that the pets are summoned for 30 seconds and then disappear. That way you can switch bars and they will still be there, but you will have to keep re-summoning them if needed.

And then you need a target to summon your pets like NB's summon shade

I think the fact that they can be toggled is fine, as long as you lose them if you switch weapon bars (and you don't have them slotted on the second bar).

It's a fair trade-off. People who want to be able to switch bars without unsummoning (and without them being on a timer) are asking a bit much IMO.

I'd like to see them on a timer:
1. Because summons have always been on a timer in every Elder Scrolls game.
2. I'm tired of seeing daedra all over every marketplace and bank. Especially that Twilight. Thing is so big it's hard to see around sometimes.
