This is silly. Every faction has endgame guilds and it isn't that hard to get to know them. I was a full pvper and I was able to find a guild, get to know people, prove myself competent and get a chance to learn content in about a month. The game is social and if you're motivated to learn and can perform in hard dungeon content like Coa people will be willing to help.

Ps, hodor lost the sanctum record to a 27m completion by a na ad guild.

@GreyBrow‌ i see your sorc DPS in your signature, haha, when i do not do lamias, I have 1,3k-1,6k on serpent with sorcerer, for more than 300 seconds

boosted from 1,1k sustainable dps by long execution phase

Sadly i can not prove it with picture, bcs on the poison last phase I switch all the time to heal and the DPS resets

Yes, we will start again, but you know, it is something, that we did it before 1.6; because with 1.6 they are buffing the gameplay and nerfing SO.
For me, these achievements with unlock date before 1.6 release is a big achievement

Well, perhaps I'm in one of your guilds as your name looks familiar. Anyways, yeah, I'm in a big guild. Probably it's a top guild in NA DC, but guess what - if you don't have a clear - you can't go with a strong group. And guys who have clears mainly play with each other, it's hard to even get to vet dsa, not to mention SO. They have training runs, but even those are groups are formed in complete silence

Sure, I'm always online for those runs and expressed my interest. Maybe one of these days ... But no, don't think I am not doing anything at all to get there. I'm trying. But I can't blame others for not wanting to teach a new group member.

The point is, that it's hard to prove myself competent if I can't get into a group. And yes, I might need to spend some time doing something to learn how to do it good. But yeah, I'm pretty sure that I can learn and I am motivated to do so. And yes, I perform good in dungeons like CoA.

I don't know why you can't accept that not everyone is as lucky as you are. And not everyone has a chance to play with other players who want to do end-game content, mainly because most of them already have the groups.

If this is not an indication of how Sorcs are no longer needed then I don't know what is... check the list
8 DK's (no doubt with dress and stick)
2 NB's
2 Temps (told to heal and shouted at if any of the team dies as it's always their fault and not the DK)

They said 1 of the templars was a stamina dps... besides, everythings changing in 1.6 so we will see the situation of sorcerers then

I was dpsing dude. Not healing.
DKs got superior AOE dmg and that helps in speedy trials.

Chances are, if the guild is a decent guild, the officers have seen you in action on those three manticora pulls or in 4 man content, and you aren't up to par yet.

Go parse some mammoths or a dungeon boss, get a respectable DPS number, post it in guild, and then try to run dailies with the officers to show that you don't die to red circles.

sanctum isn't like AA/HRC, where if you take someone who isn't good, he can hide amidst the rest of the group and get carried. In sanctum, if you take a bad player, everyone knows it because you die 4-5 times on the manticora, and then that's the end of getting asked to go do SO.

All u have to do is hit print screen during the fight which takes half a second....

What did they see? I never died in red, I did what I was supposed to do. I never was asked to post DPS so even if it was low no one saw it. We brought the boss down to 30 some percent on the third pull, and then the leaders all left.
No, the truth is - there are no spots for mortals. After those 3 pulls they never had another training run at all.
"Let's go fight for our buffs". They are your buffs, I don't need them to do pledges/DSA and AA/HRC, you don't take me in SO anyway lol.

But I didn't die 4-5 times. There were only 3 pulls lol. Also, 4-5 times is not a lot, I bet, they were dying much more back in the days.. Besides, how can a player learn without dying at all? You make no sense.

Don't see why, we had world best in all PVE content when I did the post (and only guild to ever achieve that)

, in any case we got 28m31s yesterday night and I'm sure we'll get under 27m38 quite soon :disagree:

The training group ran 2 sets of lives the second night to hit 25% on mantikora, completed manti the next time it got together, and got serpent the next time after that. There were lots of deaths and many of them wee my fault since tanking sanctum does not involve margin for error. There's certainly plenty of room for mistakes as long as you have a good attitude and learn from them.

There's definitely an issue with interested folks to spots ratio and I think a lot of good advice was posted by the other poster as its basically what I did to get my shot as a tank.

Making a scene will never be productive, if you have a concern you should speak to someone in private. The way you're handling the situation is actively nonproductive.

Sanctum is the only content in the game thst really pushes you towards certain group compositions and builds. Learning what is needed and filling it is the best way in and maximizes your opportunities.
