The worst that could possibly happen is to get the player base divided into some that use the actual numbers and some using the "divided by 10"-numbers.
"Look at me I do 5k DPS!" - "Are you a healer or do you use the OldNumberz addon?"

By 2.0 we will be doing a million dps and the numbers floating on screen will cause systems to explode.
Yes indeed, after 5 expacs they finally realised the stat inflation they set in train with the first expac (and which they accepted was a mistake some months later) had to be tackled and did what they called a 'stat squish'.But didn't Blizzard just do the opposite and reduce stats?

While 1.6 isn't an expac, 1.6 shows every sign of repeating Blizzard's horrible mistake of 2006 .. ZOS have learned nothing it seems.
Meanwhile, my FFXI characters at level 99 with only 2500 HPs are just fine.
But does it really feel more potent? 0.1% is miniscule no matter how you slice it. I don't know about you, but I couldn't care less about that 2 at the end of 36782. Heck, I don't even care about 80, if I need to calculate something quickly in my head I'll round it up to 36800 anyway.nerevarine1138 wrote: »
I don't like the change, but I think the reasoning is entirely different. The change in ESO is primarily to make the Champion System feel more potent, and it affects numbers for all players. Blizzard's changes only affected new gear and progression related to the expansions.

But then, I am one of those pesky roleplaying fans who don't pay overly much attention to stats or game mechanics...
In that spirit - I say, yay for big numbers to confuse all the others!
