Do I have to have ultra on? I just randomly played skyrim recently and I was like WTH when I saw the blood all over the sword and the person. I think some even splashed on the screen. I had forgotten that they had that much blood in skyrim.
I don't notice it at all in ESO. Let me go take a closer look lol.

Now correct me if I am wrong but, there is no blood when we slash right?
Do you think the addition of blood is dumb?

So I was simply wondering, if that was placed in the game, the hits would definitely seem more meaty. Just have an option to enable and disable them though. I woudn't want that on during a huge cyrodil battle.

I was thinking about something more like these. There WAS blood splatter on the screen on skyrim not modded.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZcgpjZzWiA
Of course they should always put the choice to turn it on or off because some peoples pc may not be able to handle it.There could be a simpler animations would tell other players that they are engaging in such an animation but does not have to be that specific animation. It could be a generic one that is shown during mega battles. Of course i would like to be able to hit the person out of the move as well.

Indeed, and while we are at it, some cool fatality moves (kill animations) vs mobs to keep the rather bland combat interesting. Age of Conan did this really well:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2X_SbZCHpc

Well, those are a little ridiculous. At one point he cuts off both of the arms and then beheads the poor guy. What the hell.

They only change I've seen to the game content that reflects the new rating are a number of items you can steal now with sexual connotations, like erotic guides. They're pretty funny actually. The reason they now have an M rating is due to the Justice system. They mentioned it on ESO Live.

Have the game earn that "mature" rating.
Of course, since AoC was mentioned... I am still envious of some other things they had there, though in general I like ESO better...

It felt so satisfying when those animations triggered though, over the top or not. They also weren't triggered on every kill. It was a rather small chance and only had a chance of triggering when you dealt the deathblow with a combo.WraithAzraiel wrote: »you called MSI horrible music?.........
You can read? To each his own though.
I think bob deaths should have a fatality animation, like decapitation or dismemberment. Am I supposed to feel immersed when my great sword hacks through a plague husk and their body is still in one piece?
I also feel as our armor deteriorates it should show signs of battle and blood spatter or loose flesh from mobs hanging off the gauntlets and pauldrons. This game is not for children so why is the imagery presented like it is for children?
Still waiting for an altmer ear necklace.

Oh, yes, it would not have to be "finishers", mere special death animations would be fine. Just like the occasional "burst in flames and burn to ashes" or "freeze solid and break to pieces" or "gasp, cough and dissolve into greenish goo" we sometimes get to see on various elemental-ish attacks. I would love to have the same for each weapon type.I wouldn't mind blood either, feels very cartoony at the moment. As for finishing moves, that would be hard to implement as this is an online game first of all, and it would leave your character open for attacks both in pve and pvp. Making them toggleable would also be very problematic. A solution to this would be to add more death animations. As of now we have a few that can trigger upon elemental damage etc - but if there were added more based on melee weapons, such as limb losses and directional death falls - the game would definitely feel more responsive.
