Moon Sugar - a plea for mercy!

Moon sugar is being removed as a provisioning ingredient in update 1.6
It has been replaced with beets.
I know this one has mentioned this in other threads here and there but this one suspects there will be many people of all races who did not see those posts or have not yet played on the PTS.
We face the prospect of thousands of crying, shivering, broken hearted Khajiit lining the streets of our towns and cities. Not to mention those outside of our own kind who also appreciate the sugar.
Our farming industry is based upon the production of sugar, it fuels our trade and lightens our hearts and minds.
So this one is really hoping you listen and do not take away our sugar. This is a big big thing for us. We have little enough in this world. Our own homeland is far away, we are branded thieves and beggars and scam merchants at every turn and we do not yet have saddles that do not pinch the tail.
Could you be happy with only beets in your backpack? Beets I ask you! Incidentally they are also taking away the fishy sticks so we can no longer celebrate Fishmas. A poor Fishmas it will be without any sugar or fishy sticks. Why are they picking on us poor Khajiit so very much?
So please my fellow Khajiit, and everyone else who likes a little sugar from time to time, use this thread to yowl loudly so that the gods of Tamriel listen to us.
Don't take away our sugar. Pretty please.

Daraugh✭✭✭✭✭I already miss moon sugar, I was so happy when I pulled the first bit from a barrel and made moon sugar biscuits! Acai berries..... Seaweed replacing snowberries... no more wild honey..
Those were little bitty details that meant a lot to me, they were part of the elder scrolls world I knew. Losing those details for trendy real life food? My kitties don't care about antioxidants and superfoods. Very sad kitty here.
Please! At least give us back our sweet sweet sugar

BlueViolet✭✭✭✭✭Moon Sugar Biscuits was one of the first recipes my character picked up. As said above, it's part of the ES world that I know, and love dearly. Why would anyone take a Khajiit staple away? It wont be the same without it. Especially replacing it with beets.EU / NA / PC0 -

Never made sense from a cooking stand point especially with how common it was all over the place. But not a ounce of skooma to be bought? That's weak.
Really hope they make it like an alchemy ingredient. As for the real problem. Give us skooma! I don't care if it just a potion I find laying around some persons house or bought from the criminal market. I just want it in game.
Also alcohol needs to get us drunk.2 -

✭Imagine the look from a Khajit opening his backpack after 1.6 hits, to find his precious stockpile of moon sugar replaced with... beets! It's as if a kid comes home with a bag of Halloween loot and discovers that someone has taken the sweets and replaced them with potatoes.

I thought it was poorly done to make it a food instead of an entheogen in the first place. I'd like to see some sort of sophisiticated thing where moonsugar offers benefits IF you have a point in some khajiit-culture-specific skill (maybe after having read a motif book)? Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -
