CP deminishing returns is punishment enough for dedicated players.

Dear @ZOS
Diminishing returns on champion points is enough to keep players on a even footing.
Do you really need enlightenment to make it 4 times harder to earn a champion point if you are able to play more than an hour a day?
What do others think?

Hortator Mopa✭✭✭✭I have not played the PTS but I have been hearing so much bad stuff about the grind for CP.
I guess its all intended so later a exp crown item boosting the CP gain can be implemented.0 -

4xep bonus seems an incredible margin to give as an enlightened boost. But I see it more as a 4xreduction in exp for those of us who like to play more than an hour a day.
Please give me more incentive to play. I like playing but if my progression is nerfed the more I play I feel like it will be an uphill battle.0 -

i have said this a couple times, but I think that when you combine the armor nerfs, skill nerfs and character nerfs with the amount of time needed to get the cp to get back to a normal and reasonable level from pre 1.6 its insulting. I honestly could live with all the nerfs ( even though i think they suck) if they let us gain cp a little faster. we shall see but i dont have confidence they will listen or care. Also they still havent taken VR away. So when we are grinding cp to get back to a normal level we can all count on the fact that when VR ranks go away it will knock you right back down to pre cp grind0 -

MMO's should never punish people for playing.
It's like people at ZOS are just guessing at what to do and have no real idea.
1.6, the update that will "save the game". The only thing ESO needs saving from is ZOS.1 -

I can understand the need for deminishing returns on champion points. So that no one can be outrageously stronger then another player. No argument here.
What I don't understand why they need enlightenment on top of it. It slows your cp progression down so drastically if you play more than an hour a day.
Isn't that what diminishing returns on CP is meant to do?

Why pvp once your enlightenment has run out? You'll have no chance of getting a cp.

I already know i'll be dropping my sub once 1.6 goes live but the more I see of it the more i'm wondering if i'll just end up dropping the game altogether.
