Bank Space Upgrade Bugged or Just Amazingly Expensive?

I went to do the 140-150 bank space upgrade this morning and instead of 10 spaces for 42,700 the interface says "<<<1>>> spaces." Is this a glitch, possibly related to my currently feeding oats to my imperial horses, or is the price really that much for 1 slot now? If I give my money to the banker, will I get 10 slots or 1? Inquiring minds want to know.

This is on live (Vulkhel Guard), not the PTS.

It's a glitch in the text - it's a placeholder. Similar issue on PTS with one description. You might try a repair from the client before you spend your $.

Otherwise, You'll get 10 slots for your 50k.

To be safe, in case it does bug out, I'd screen shot your spaces and gold before and after, as well as the screen with the erroneous text.

Thanks, @Merlin13KAGL Good suggestions. I didn't realized that formatting translated "placeholder." I'd also considered comparative shopping with the banker in Skywatch.

Edit: Still getting the same display post-Repair.

It's a bug. I've bought more bank space when it said <<<1>>> and still got 10 more spaces.

@imryll , screenshots don't lie. Makes any follow up conversations with GM's or CS much simpler and requires less of:

Which character was it?
Where did this take place?
Was anything special about the circumstance?
Were you eating pie at the time of the occurance?
If so, what flavor was the pie?

We're aware of the issue with the placeholder text there, and it should be fixed soon. You'll still receive the 10 slots when you upgrade though, so it's just a visual issue. We definitely understand that it's a bit scary at first though. 50k for one space hardly seems worth it

It will be a little less of an issue with 1.6 because they are allowing all crafting matts, ore, refined, style and trait stones and food matts to stack to 200. In essence cutting crafters spacial needs in half.

Until we fill that all up of course.

Well... Not for all your disguises, apparently. On the PTS the only disguises that go in the Collections tab are the ones that are rewards (like the gemstone of skeletal visage, or the golden saint costume), and not any that you find during quests.

Happily, I got my 10 slots--still needed because all those space-saving features in 1.6 are not yet available in-game. Sadly, Arawe did not invite Valanye to join her in her office for a slice of bumbleberry pie. At these prices surely our business should have been transacted over a cup of tea and a pleasing snack!

So... are disguises supposed to go in there? Right now they're just part of the inventory slots on live.

The other one was wondering if the rare trophy fish were going in there too...

You know... player vs player gambling using those games we can snarf up out of people's homes would be pretty cool. Not sure about using crowns, but at least using gold...

I'm not sure it's a mechanic I'd actually want to use, but it would be pretty cool to have the option.
