Want to get the crown store really rolling? Not only add more stuff to it, but add in-game gambling, PvP style with poker-like games, and PvE like slots or Guar racing or some TES lore equivalent where we can gamble with crowns.
Get them gambling addicts reloading at the crown store hand over fist!
Could even add gambling leaderboards!
Best of all it can't be called P2W!
Also allow players to give loans to other players and be able to hunt them down like the deadbeats they are as an added feature of the justice system!

✭✭✭✭That would violate several laws the world over. Many countries have restrictions on gambling. Here, even if tv shows want people to send a text message (ie enter a lottery) to win a prize, there still has to be a 'quiz' element for reasons of legal loopholes.
So no, ESO will never be able to offer crowns (which have an equivalent in rl currency) for in game gambling without breaking the law in many US states and many other countries - it would simply be illegal (it would be legal in some, it would be legal in some if they were given a gambling/casino license, and in some it would always be illegal.)Edited by Epona222 on January 30, 2015 7:27AMGM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

If this was regular gold and for simple games or arena matches with NPC's fight I would agree. But for crowns? That is sickening.0 -

In-game gambling-style minigames for gold on the other hand I could see happening... there are a few things like that in reapers march as I recall, betting on troll fights, spikeball running, lizard racing... could be added and expanded someday.
Non-gold competetive games? Arm wrestling in nord taverns? Dart games in elf pubs? Drinking contests against other players? Horse races? Archery contests? Dueling exhibition fights? Who knows, all those I could see coming to ESO for more player enjoyment somedeay...
Loan sharks... heh... would be fun, but I doubt it happening in any meaningful way.0
