Radiant Destruction feels Very Laggy

For this new Templar execute ability, there is about a 1 second delay from the time that I hit the button until the time the channel starts. It feels extremely laggy and unresponsive. For a team that is trying to make combat feel more responsive, I'm a little surprised by how horrible it feels to cast Radiant Destruction. Not good.
