Thanks for nothing LOL. Is this just patting your own back? it certainly doesn't help anyone since 1.6 will change it all. Maybe when you come up with a new build for 1.6 you can share? or will you be holding onto that build as well to release when it's irrelevant ?

This build is not unique because nobody ever came up with such a build, but it's unique because he developed it to fit his needs and play style. Not everyone likes to copy and paste builds from websites.

Chim never said it was about DPS or anything. The point of this build is to have something that works well, feels good and is fun to play.

IMO, The kind of player who keeps their build insights as secrets so they can have some false sense of superiority over other newer or less experienced players is what is toxic. If someone like myself who points this out is toxic in your opinion, so be it, I'll gladly embrace that label.

You seem to have some major attitude problems, because to show this much negativity towards what is a mere build share is silly. You are upset that he kept the build to himself? If he enjoys the build, and feels that it works for him, he by no rights have any obligation to share it.

You don't have to agree, like or use this build, but show some respect.

We don't have to agree, I feel my point is valid here and not silly at all. It is my opinion that players who withhold build details from a questioning player base are selfish.

Get over it. It's my opinion, and it holds weight here albeit I never meant to put this much effort into it. Maybe I don't like the way mmos breed egos so large (in general not chim specifically) that every sheeple in the genre begins to follow suit like it's normal behavior, effectively ruining the community with elitist behavior. I don't know. Maybe it's the coffee making me feel a little more righteous than usual.

My suggestion to all, share a build, but without the pretense you've been hiding it like a sociopath (again in general not chim specifically). It is true a player has no obligation to share a build. But when one chooses to do so, this would be the respectable and selfless way to go about it.

To @chimneyswift_ESO‌, I apologize, my point was made with you in our first dialogue and was not intent to derail the thread to make an example of elitism. You seem like a reasonable guy. From my point of view I'm trying to help the community and not simply being negative.
