/LFG world Channel /LFG on /LFG off /WHO all command

chrissouza7ub17_ESO
Would it be to much to ask for another way to find a group.
Something like:
Chat Channel: World- V14 Temp LFG I got heals!

/WHO all command based on what chat channel you are in, so we can see who is in the zone. Or /who all Templar V14 showing all Templars online that are V14.

Also a flag we can turn on and off: /LFG ON/OFF flags us as hey I'm LFG so when we do a /WHO ALL we can see, oh hey look a V14 Templar is flagged LFG let me ask them if they feel like grouping for this dungeon.

The current LFG tool is a epic fail... All we need is something simple like the commands above.. Type a command in text box get results.

ZOS does everything to hide actual player numbers. So, a 'who' command is quite unlikely to come. But a 'lfg' channel (or even user/addon creatable channels) would be nice.

This stuff is so basic it's hard to believe we haven't had it since launch. 15 years ago Eq had these basic features, I'm not sure these devs have even played an mmo before.

There are already other channels in the game that no one uses, (I play on both servers and NO ONE uses the language channels) and when I made this kind of suggestion I was ignored (and flamed by a couple).

Trying to get everyone to actully start doing it is the only issue I can see.

This has been a standard command in MMO's as far back as DAoC and possibly even UO, which was so long ago I barely remember it.. It should be the easiest thing to implement.

Yes as it would make forming groups for boss camps and public dungeons easier and allow me not to have to wait in a specific zone to find a group of players to do it.

Wouldn't it be simpler if we had a grouping tool?

I'm all for being facetious, but in a serious note I used the grouping tool for fungal grotto and it worked. After I completed the fungal grotto, it seems to not work so well anymore for fungal grotto.

The group tool has such a bad reputation now, and sometimes I feel the best way to fix it is to add more options. What if I just want to look for a group of hyst 2 or 3 people to test a dungeon or maybe just do paired grinding in the open world?

In short, I see the improvements of the guild tool, I want that same innovation in the group search function. List all players looking for a group rather than assigning the group automatically. List all players near a way shrine close to you or the dungeon looking for group members everytime we use a wayshrine.

On a side note, one improvement I've noticed is the automatic teleport to the group leader. Group tool use should also be incentivised, maybe loot drop increase, or special quest introduction.

I also miss the /who all "whatever" commands I used frequently in EQ. I find myself wishing for it almost every time I play
