Will going thief/Legerdemain route impact future Enforcer skill line?

So Ive heard rumors and read that down the line Zeni wants to add an Enforcer skill line that goes opposite the thief/Legerdemain one. If I choose to pursue the thief line will this hurt me in the future if I want to be an enforcer, justicar, or whatever they call it?

The only reason it wouldnt be is if they treat Legerdemain and Enforcer as they do Werewolf and Vampire.
