I'm curious what people think will happen to the prices of rare motifs once 1.6 hits live.

Skyrocket. The justice system will make farming them unfeasible, so supply will diminish while demand will remain the same.

Plummet. With the Crown Store, everyone's appearance will be determined by what they're willing to pay real-world money for rather than by their in-game actions. It won't matter what armor actually looks like anymore, because everyone will be wearing costumes all the time. Demand will diminish even more than supply does.

"Hey Spatula, you're missing the obvious, dummy!"A lot of the potential new players coming this way, be it console or PC Master Race, probably won't buy the subscription and/or buy the crown Jewels, and those that do will more than likely spend them on mounts and not costumes imo.
So that leads me to believe that the demand for the motif styles will be still as high as it is now. However, the farming on these just got slightly (read very) harder which will make the motifs more in demand and prices go up.
It's win-win, just stockpile them now whilst you get a chance and get rich selling to the new players in March!0
