Buffs and tracking?

Hi,
Maybe I've been oblivious this entire time, but a lot (or all) of the changes for classes now provide buffs and debuffs. Are we going to actually be able to see these debuffs on the target and buffs on our selves? Or must we download an addon for this?

If this is indeed a change where all of these abilities are buffing and debuffing where previously they hadn't, it only makes sense that the game provide us the ability to see these buffs and debuffs without having to download an addon.

Yes? No? Have I just misunderstood abilities this entire time?

I think it's only through addons, which aren't too bad.(I use ftc which does much). I agree though it should be default ui.

I believe they emphasized that all buffs will be more visually visible now, since they wish to have the least amount of ui on the screen - plus that you can not have several buffs of the same effect on at the same time - though it will be harder for first-person players to see the buffs.

Ah good. If what you say is true, then I wont need to download an addon...they should appear somewhere on the screen when I get the minor fractured ..debuff or buff or whatever.

Seems they are going crazy with buffs and debuffs with this patch, they better have the UI to support it.

I want to know if conflicting buffs and debuffs will either cancel each other out or overwrite the other.

The strongest buff will overwrite a lesser one, most certainly.
