Need help with NB leveling build

I recently returned to the game and I decided to make a Bosmer NB, with the intent to become a vampire in order to capitalize on the bonus stealth damage. My goal is to make a DW build. I have read some guides and I am confused because some recommend 7 light for spell power while others use 5 medium/2 light for extra crit. I've been changing back and forth between light armor and staves to medium armor bow/dw with more stamina abilities. Any advice?

Advice, yeah.

Firstly, decide whether you want you Nightblade to be magicka based, stamina based or a hybrid.

Secondly, ignore any advice for other builds, if you choose stamina ignore advice for magicka builds.

Thirdly choose your armour based on your build, Light Armour primarilly for Magicka builds, Medium Armour for Stamina Builds, Heavy Armour for a tank build (usually Stamina for nightblades but not necessarily so)

Fourthly, choose a weapon you can comfortably use, don't worry too much about your build here. I went for dual wield for mine (for whirlwind skill, which I needed), but others have gone for bow, or two handed, or sword and shield, etc.

Fifthly, choose a second weapon at level 15 to complement your primary choice, and build it up a bit. For example if you went dual wield for your primary weapons, then perhaps the bow to give you ranged attacks.

Sixthly, Avoid Cloak, it's generally regarded as about as much use as a bicycle is to fish.
