If you add the pvp server exp buff that will be 30% right there then, not counting enlightment.

I was referring to the stats and perks granted by the Champion System. Sorry if that correlation wasn't blatantly obvious. My bad. If these xp bonuses won't affect Champion Point accrual then completely disregard this. All is well if it has no effect.

I'm not sure this is much of a "convenience item" but rather I see it as a paid advantage that can't be obtained in-game by other means. Two players, one premium member and one player that just owns the game, do the exact same thing for the same duration. The player that paid extra money will progress further than the player that didn't buy the Imperial Edition and didn't give a B2P game more money beyond the box cost or DLCs purchased. This extra bonus was not earned in game but rather it was straight up purchased off of the cash shop or automatic transaction from their bank accounts.

I guess there's an extra variable as to how much the diminished returns will be after so many points are accrued and hopefully we can get a glimpse of that this week on PTS. I can think of plenty of bonuses other than ones that grant a character's power difference.

The reason this bothers me is that I don't want to see this game start out offering power for extra purchases. That's all. It could be nothing but we really don't know it's effect yet one way or another. I hope that I'm wrong.

Don't worry about others levelling habbits or how much boost they have on xp, it won't affect your gameplay but instead increase your experience and add more high lvl players for you to group with and pvp with in cyrodill. Also you have the oppurtunity to increase your xp for the same price you are paying now.

Think of it this way people, AOE grinding was like a 1000% (10x) increase in leveling boost they maxed out in a week and you maxed out in a month or two, players have gone from 1-50 in 4 days by aoe grinding so if you want to have a 40% decrease in leveling time you can just do that and skip the story. If you want to beat out all the people will boost then go aoe grind.

Then your level 50 and can't enjoy the story content anymore because its pointless to do a lvl 4 mission at 50 but you still need to complete it for skill points so its a chore. You can also think about it this way... you have a headstart and probably already have a lvl 50 or vr14 so there you win the race so thats like +100000% xp on those that come in later in the game with their 10% 30% boost.

No the extra exp bonuses apply to all exp earned and champion points are given out based on experience points earned post level 50. Also I believe enlightenment in the ESO live was mentioned as a TU+ perk and aimed at people who have lives outside of ESO are able to buy the subscription (since they work etc...) And still get exp to keep up with lazy bums who sit at home all day and play games....so it is a pay to be on equal ground attempt (I think) but yes you are correct pay !money get an advantage.welcome to non sub world.

This is what everyone begged Zos to do for months (well except those of us that didnt).

The good news is (if i understand correctly) that subbed people will always get what they got before, and people who were/are not willing to pay a sub can still play but do not get the full experience that the paying people are and have been receiving....frankly i think they should b2p and make non subbers get 1/5 the exp of a subber. Actually yeah i just wanted a good subscription game...sigh

It's kind of been confirmed already. They have stated that the imperial digital edition, will be in the crown store. Assuming they keep it after pts testing is done...shouldn't be there in the first place in my opinion.

Most of you been playing this game for 6months to a year. Why would you care if someone gets a 10% or 30% boost from lvl 1 about 2 months from now, when your already maxed out or close to it? Your alts will have champion points and you'll have plenty of money and probably maxed out in crafting. I don't see why an xp boost would bother any of us specifically. Is it the "idea" that bothers you guys, because it won't affect you since you have a super duper head start on them.

So, based on the clarification posts, If all XP boosts are stacked, some players could be gaining upwards of over 30% increased XP (and presumably champion point XP) more than others. Interesting.

True, so cycling between my 4 (soon 5) VR characters I wonder if I can sustain a 110-120% bonus (only 1 had a ring of Mara) throughout a night of leveling. Sounds totally legit and doesn't feel silly or shady at all .

I thought we get a bunch of CP points for being vr14. HOw many i dont know. Good for you though, at least youll be paying the server bills. I'll probably be doing the same.

Yeah we get 70 cp for VR 14 + 1 million exp...I spent last week levelling from VR1 to VR14 (using the ring of Mara and its superduper OP abilities, except I'm shy a ring so my damage was lower than it could have been....hmmm wonder if it was really quicker?) Anyways he doesn't have to worry, I will keep subbing (for now) and get the bonus exp....but I will prolly be to busy rping to get to 3600 anywhere close to first....even with my ring o Mara and TU+. In fact I will likely never see 50% completion of CP.

I think I recall Gina or Jessica clarifying that either on ESO live or a green post somewhere. That's my understanding at least.

OK... so now we (will eventually) have the following XP Boosts:

Ring of Mara
ESO:TU Subscription
Enlightenment
XP Boost Potions

Are there any more? Are each of these 10%. If so, then that would mean a player who subs, has the Ring of Mara (and is using is), is currently "enlightened", and uses an XP Boost from the Crown Store will have a 40% XP boost. Woof!!!

Well, I know how I'm going to get my Champion Points.

Has anyone actually tested the Mara rings in VR levels lately? Cause the last time my partner and I used them we were around vr6 before we took them off, since we tested xp gain off kills with and without the rings, it was the same. Long since hit vr14 before the nerf to vet content. Mara in others words, did not give us a bonus past lvl50. Has this changed?

hmm I believe in July we were still earning VP in the veteran system. Now we just earn xp so I do wonder if thats changed.

Ok well that is what I thought. So that sort of throws the whole theory of XP stacking from Mara for CPs out the door. 'Course you can still PAY for the crown store ones... proly will sell them in different "strengths" to make up the difference then, that sort of rubbish.

Enlightenment is not an XP boost, just a modifier to existing XP when gaining CP.
