Anticipating 1.6, a change of pace around here

In every MMO/RPG I have ever played my primary has always been the much loved "huntard" ;) Even the single player TES, I was all about the bow first and foremost.

In ESO, I have tried NB, DK and a Heavy Templar(don't ask lol) with Bow. Deleting and/or completely re-speccing them because for *me* it simply didn't feel quite comfortable in play, or realistically another approach had better output.

But in anticipation of 1.6 changes, I am yet again attempting to find my happy place with an archer...this time around with a little woodelf Templar and DW as offhand. I'm genuinely excited, likely more than I have been since launch, and even now without the changes having a blast with her. So...

What are you anticipating most in 1.6? Looking forward to? Excited about?
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

Actually, something mostly undervalued: new combat animations. Saw it on ESO Live and fell in love with the change.

I'm also looking forward to see how the crown shop turns out to be. And excited about...the dog pet. Just kidding! The ultimates and skills change look exciting, having to find a new way to fight means more fun to me

I am mostly excited for all the skill re-balances. there should not be skills I am forced to shrug off, and/or be forced to use just so I can start gaining XP in a skill tree(I'm looking at you pull chain) Every skill should be good, and have strengths/weaknesses to make it a tough decision on which ones to use.

I'm hoping 1.6 comes as close to this as possible.

I made my first stamina build with a Templar redgaurd. 2h first and then the bow. I have had a ton of fun with it. With some upgrades I think it will be the next OP setup ppl complain about. I have always used magikca builds but this one is fun as can be. I went thru the main quest lines only and grinded on mobs to lvl up when needed along with group bosses and dungeons in each zone. It was fast an efficient grinding on undead for the extra fighters guild points. It took me less than 2 weeks to get to V1. I can't wait for the new changes.
You know you can also go to higher lvl zones to collect skyshards outside of dungeons to help you speed up lvl'n skills right? I did this as soon as I could using guildies locations. Think outside the box and let the good times roll.
Power to the stamina builds out there and their effectiveness in end game. Hopefully we get the changes needed to be viable in the hardest dungeons.

Rebuilding my 2 VR14 characters, based on the new skill changes, CS and attribute changes. It like learning the game all over again, should be interesting.

On top of that, my gear may need to change with this- so looking forward to the research behind all that and then figuring out what to do for each of them.

More teaming up as changes to Ultimate generation and skills will probably prevent the awesome players from soloing elites like WB's, Dolmens, and VR mobs like in Craglorn . This could be beneficial to the game especially when we will be getting an influx of new players with the B2P system. Current players would be more than willing to help out, instead of shouting 'I solo'ed that. L2P, Neeewb!!!'

In anticipation I've only used ultimates when desperate, in order to practice getting used to life without endless ults.

Can confirm VR mobs in Craglorn, Dolmens and WB's can be solo'd with ease still.

The new players will likely still get told to L2P. Not by me though, I'll help them out ;)

I look forward to when they finally will release it. I have 4 armor sets, 2 for magicka build and 2 for stamina build. I like to switch. But 2 of them have to go. After 1.6 i will go full stamina or full magicka. But that depends on what works best for me. So i hope they release it soon.

The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Nothing in 1.6 interests me much, I am pissed that Orsinium won't appear probably before Q4 and will be a chargeable DLC when the hardcore minority had three content updates and phat lewt which will remain free.

Yes, I'm remaining as a subscriber so the fact that the DLC will cost non-subscribers isn't an issue, it's the principle though that since ZOS were too tardy to get to release before this change then they'll be making players pay for it as it won't be out for 1.6

Nothing at all... I don't buy into hype and pretty much anything that appears positive when said by ZOS turns out to be hype.

Have no expectations and you will never be disappointed.
