Would you buy a DLC if...

Would you buy a DLC if it's just a new PVE or PVP zone?

Or would you buy a DLC if you can find in this new zone the great new gear you want for your character?

Make your own conclusions.

Somehow, I don't see them making a new zone without including new gear sets to go w/ that zone. That'll just be a waste.

I would buy a DLC if... It featured a never seen before part of Tamriel, expanded the lore in that region and featured great writing. Also, if the new region had new architecture and new mobs to go along with it, instead of making a map out of only reused assets.

I think people will buy DLC for best gear but i think ZOS will introduce "money making" scheme.Example: DLC 1 and DLC 2 do not add good gear and DLC 3 does. But you can not buy DLC 3 without purchasing the first two DLC.Profit*

I might actually buy a DLC if it is another major group zone like Craglorn.
Not that I fancy Craglorn so much but one needs to stay available to do the grouping stuff with his buddies.

But I am pretty sure I am not gonna buy a new single questing zone... dont get me wrong, quests in ESO are all more or less amazing and I expect nothing less for new "DLC-zones" but paying extra for "only" a zone with a handful of single player quests probably aint gonna cut it for me.
With the now forced quest-through-everything-for-XP approach I am pretty much quested out... really.

Yes I would buy new zones if they look cool.

i'm just going to keep my subscription up as long as i'm having fun. If paying a sub didn't bother you before, i don't see why it would bother you in march.

I'd buy both. My conclusion is that I evidently like the game and enjoy doing new quests and seeing new places.

Well, it annoys me that the benefits I will get from my subscription are pretty much worth nothing extra (for me that is).
    Yes, yes, DLC access.
But they already said new content frequency will be a lot less than it was this last year - so compared to the "free-riders" I will pay for pretty much nothing of value (again that's for me only)... I now longer pay for access to a really great game/servers - in my eyes that and only that is was the real value of the subscription.

If a DLC is to be a new zone I want several things from it.

Visual appeal and interesting to explore

    Soloable!!!

    Interesting storyline and compelling quests

    Plenty to keep me busy

Gear is way down on the list. As long as I have gear that approximates well to my level and I can survive with it then I am fine. At VR1 I am still wearing my level 14 hat because I like the look of it more than other hats I have crafted since. The look of my gear matters more than its value as armour.

Saying that I still want good loot - recipes, materials, ingredients, things I can sell or deconstruct - and good supply of crafting mats too. I have eight alts to feed here. Someone has to bring home the bacon.

I'll be carrying on subscribing so the issue won't arise, if I ever canceled my subscription the point wouldn't arise either.

Before your sub mean something new every 6 week( maybe something that did not interrest you but still...new). Now we are sure that we are not getting "new" until probably september...(after the 17th)

No. As a matter of principle, I won't be buying any DLC.

No. Unless it is called an expansion with real content worth hours and hours of enjoyment then i would buy. But just DLC i already pay for with my monthly sub fee.

The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Please, no more Craglorn. It is nearly impossible to get a good group to begin and most people who you find in zone chat abandon you mid quest.
