What Happens When Emperor is Deposed?

Today, my alliance (Ebonheart) crowned its emperor, giving me my health bonus back. However, I wonder what happens in the following scenario:

A fellow player and I are teaming up to defeat a boss (for the sake of the example, let's imagine its Sadal, even though he's a solo boss last I checked). Midway through the fight, a notification alerts me to the fact the emperor is deposed by, let's say, the Covenant. How does it handle the loss of the health bonus, and can you die midfight as a result of the loss of health?

Not that I can give you the exact answer you're looking for, I would assume it would be under the premise of the other buffs you receive. It wont lose value until after combat is over.

I believe the buff is applied to Max Health. So whether it happens immediately or not, your actual health will not be affected, unless it is full, which is unlikely anyway in the middle of combat.

Example with random numbers, assuming buff is 10% (because I can't remember what it is):
Your Health with buff: 12452 of 23564
Your Health without buff: 12452 of 21422

Good question, but IMO it should be in PvP section.

Ashy, this health bonus applies to PvP and PvE, and besides that, no one reads the PvP forums anyway.

As far as i know, you keep the buff until another(enemy) emperor is crowned. Also, stat adjustments might only done on zone transition/relogging, but i'm not 100% sure.

    ^This.

Takes it off the top, not the bottom.

If I remember from other emperor accounts, a Tharn comes personally to your house and slaps you in the face, kidnaps you and makes you listen to nor bard music, or kills you and wears your skin. I think the choices depend if you actually lead people, got your AP through healing, or if you had snipe on your skill bar.

Same thing that happens when your food runs out in the middle of battle. Or the effects of an Ayelid Well.
