We are currently investigating issues some players are having on the North American megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.
Remove PvP Buffs for PvE, or other suggestions
To get rid of the entire " Buff Server " problem. Remove the buffs completely when you leave Cyrodiil.
That or only have the buffs last a set amount of time after you leave Cyrodiil.
Or
You only keep the buffs for the set amount of time x2 you have been in cyrodiil, and you would first have to either taken a keep or taken 12 resources before the timer starts. ( To solve people from AFK'ing in Cyrodiil and to FORCE YOU PVE CAREBEARS TO FIGHT AND DIE LIKE THE REST OF US.
You fight in cyrodiil for 30 minutes= 1 hour of buffs 2 hours = 4 hours of buffs, etc.

✭Up until recently, I was all for removing PvP buffs from PvE. The thing is, without those buffs, there is literally no incentive for PvEers to come to Cyrodiil. I think the PvP community just needs to work together to make sure we are actively preventing buff servers from being a thing, which is exactly what's been happening over the last few weeks.
PvEers, if you're new to PvP and want to learn the mechanics, say so in zone. There is almost always someone willing to take the time to answer questions. I took a couple pvpers into Vet CoA - they kept falling over like flies in a volcano. Look and see: 2300 life, with food buff.
Oh and *we* rely on buff servers? Orly.

✭✭✭✭Buffs are kind of bolstering the Cyrodil population. Many people legitimately PVP only to maintain their buffs. If there were no buffs, Azura Star(NA) would be empty all the time along with other campaigns, but buffs cause there to be some action there sometimes. ✭✭✭✭✭There is no perfect solution to this problem, but I think standardizing the campaign length (no more 7, 14 and 30 day) and having all campaigns contribute to a single overall score would emphasize the need for each faction to be active on all campaigns.
It might spread people out a bit. I don't know. I do know that the current situation is just a mess.0 -

This made me laugh cause it's true . PvE'ers for the most part could care less about the buff servers or pvp buffs . An they won't come help people pvp because they don't like most of them and their attitudes .1 -

I'll PvP when it interests me and sometimes it does. I've had the buff from Chillrend so long I had forgotten it was there, now it's gone and other than needing to play a little more carefully, not a big deal.
I hope they remove the buffs entirely. Maybe the PvPers who keep scheming for ways to pull PvEers into their AP farms can go back to being completely irelevant to everybody outside of Cyrodil. Figure it out, the buffs aren't nearly enough to spend my free time with attitudes I wouldn't tolerate in real life unless I was already planning to.1 -

There is no travel to player in PVP - or do you mean where you travel to a groupmate?
That would be lame as sometimes friends ask me to help on a campaign where I am neither homed nor guest, and it only ports you to the home area anyway.
