Please retire this phrase. It is a game it is always going to have limitations if you have a specific issue discuss it rationally don't rely upon this phrase over and over

1) People using the word 'this' when quoting something or someone just sounds ludicrous. It's like when I hear someone say 'lish' when they want to say 'delicious'. It makes me want to roundhouse kick them.

2) 'Noob' - The 90s called, and they want their 1337 speak back. Any adult using this word sounds idiotic. Go read a thesaurus.

"...slap in the face..."

I don't care how much I agree with their post, the minute I read "slap in the face", I want to travel through their monitor and actually give them one.

For me it's when I read sage advice from some busy body ... "if you can't afford a $15 monthly subscription then you should be making focusing on career choices instead of playing a game ....

I hate seeing that oily sanctimonious self righteous phrase ... and phrases like it. How the "ef" do these woo-woo's know about an individual's prioritization ... and what right do they have to interfere? Absolutely nada.

How about encouraging people to search old threads or provide a link instead.

Because encouraging people to read one of fifteen identical topics on the same page of forum listings apparently never elicits any results. Linking another thread and trying to consolidate them doesn't help either. Honest to god, it's not even like they HAD to search for anything. It's right on the same freakin page most of the time. It's not even like they intend to discuss a different aspect of the same issue most of the time. So, no I'm not doing work for people who are to god***n lazy to read in the first place or look around briefly. Most of the new (same) topics aren't posted by first time users either.
Of course the reason I stopped was because it was becoming a fad when the intended reason was to make people stop posting the same d*** topic 35 times. Which, of course, got nowhere. So I have stopped beating the dead horse dead horse.

" __________ is broken." was one of the early phrases I hated. "Viable" is another that irks me.

I understand that some people are upset at the changes taking place, but applying such terms to the developers whether collectively or individually is both offensive and unnecessary, and demeans any attempt to make a constructive criticism of the changes. The word (along with "lie" and "liar") needs to disappear from the forums so we can have a more rational discussion of the changes rather than continuing to drive the developers even further away from these forums.
