With the big announcement of ESO: TU earlier this week, i've been seeing a ton of various answers to the above quetion. It sounds like you will be able to play on PC/Mac and a Console of your choice with all of the characters you currently have as it will make a copy on the console server of choice at release. The progress will of course be separate between the two, but the thought of playing on both definitely is of interest to myself. Really just curious overall to see what the current forum community thinks.

    I was a hold out for this from last year so "IF" I do decide to play it and "IF" the cash shop is not P2W then I will be there on Xbone.
    Anything useful that players are wanting added into the game all fall under the category of "Yer ruinin my 'mersion!" Sallington

    That's a fair statement for sure. I think as long as the community keeps up and things keep progressing I don't personally believe we will have to worry about anything P2W.

    I think I will most likely be switching over to Xbox One as well seeing as I have more friends either doing that or waiting to pick it up then.

    I honestly just broke down and bought the PC version like 2 weeks ago after giving up hope for a console release anytime soon. :)

    I found that Xpadder works with it so I have been playing it with an Xbox controller ATM on pc.. I do feel kinda shafted over buying it and then the announcement of FTP/CONSOLE 12 days after I caved lol.. Oh well...

    PC first and maybe console to play with my father and some friends sometimes, if we can really export characters and have the game at a llower price.

    Well talk about a tale of unfortunate events! Well, if you are playing on PC and ever need/want some help feel free to ask. @Zethiris in game of course. I don't blame you for caving though, I really do love playing this game.

    I've been waiting for the game to get on the dam Xbox One since it came out. I just re-subbed on PC to make sure I get the whole transfer thing sorted out.

    I really have as well. Need to start getting a collection of people switching over so we can all play together and be ready for it in my opinion. It's be nice to go into it with people that are already ready for most if not all content and then we just have to add the rest of our friends that aren't playing yet.

    Wait. It will make *copies* of existing characters and put them on the console server of one's choice? That's awesome if true, because I thought it would *transfer* the character(s) to the other platform.

    More incentive to create multiple toons now.

    Yeah, according to what I read from ZOS yesterday on the reddit AMA they did, that's what was said. I was pretty excited about it myself, just incase certain friends only want to play on one side or the other. I'd link where I read it at, but I'm having to post from my cell phone at the moment. I'd suggest just reading the AMA info in general, good stuff on there.

    Good idea. I think the community on Xbox at least will have to be built by the PC transfers because so far the reception of the news on their forums hasn't been very welcoming.

    You should not feel that unfortunate. You know, the digital version of the game have risen up prices like 250% in many places now that its gone B2P.

    I got a digital copy for a friend that uses no cc like two weeks ago and I paid 13€ in a known website. Now, in the same site, there is no more stock after being re-priced for like 25€ this last day. Other websites I visited have it for like 2/3 times the price I paid.

    I am pretty sure there is a lot of well-stocked individuals ready to re-sell a ton of keys out there. I guess they made a good deal.

    Exactly! Can't expect the new people to just do the right thing without having people help guide them down the right path. I know that we all had to figure things out during the beta and since launch, but the game has come a pretty long way since then. If we don't step up as a community and lead people down the right path, we could possibly lose some of the things that make this game so fun. For me that is the majority of the existing player base and the helpful nature of the people I have played with.

    Well if anyone wants to add me in game, please do. I'd love to discuss or gameplan ways that we could help the Xbox One community thrive so players can experience a wonderful time playing the game like I have.

    I'll play on Pc :smile:

    I've saved up for a new laptop for nearly a year, most for this particular game (and because my last laptop was 5 years old)

    With te price of any console here, is better for me spend a little more cash in a laptop (That is useful for other stuff, not just games)
