I am finding mixed understandings regarding the ESO+ access to vanity items, such as mounts, pets etc.
Technically, they are DLC, so surely the subscription should allow access.
However, when cancelling a sub, access to DLC areas become restricted. Yet items obtained are kept. Would this include keeping vanity items?
Someone suggested that vanity items are separate from DLC and can be purchased with the monthly crown allowance.
Obviously, at this time it is difficult to know the value of items and crowns. I think this is where the value of subscription compared to just paying for DLC will be scrutinised.
However, if they do add value to the subscription by allowing full access to these vanity items, and they are kept after subscription ends, what prevents someone subbing for 1 month near the end of the year and getting all vanity DLC for $15, compared to someone who subbed all year and only getting some vanity items each month?
My solution to prevent that would have monthly exclusives, that once expire, are purchasable in the crown store.
Does anyone have any solid information? (I know it is hard to obtain)
