Ring of mara and Crowns

Hopefully a ZoS member can reply to this.
I just wanted to know If I could use crowns to revert my ring of mara. My friend and I that used it both have V14 NB's and we don't really see any need for them anymore (only thing we could possibly use it for would be a slight increase in champion points). I want to know if I can revert it and be able to use it with my friend again, on our alts, so they get an increase in xp.
Will there be an option to do that in the crown store or will my Ring of Mara forever be tied to my friends NB?
