you have to understand how many variables go into the whole idea of open world pvp. They simply are not ready to put it in yet and may not be for a few months.

If? Why did he say IF/when? Is there talk of scrapping the pvp element?

They're currently working out how many crowns it will cost per month to rent an enforcer tabard. If they come to the conclusion that nobody will pay for it, they're not adding it to the game.

They had better release the PvP element!!!! We have all been looking forward to it!!!

Spellcrafting WILL be added. At 100 crowns per spell component.

To sum things up, believe any statements, previous or current, made from the devs or Zenimax (even statements on camera, the ESO site, and on record) at your own risk.

All that you have to do is go to any bank in the game and see why the PvP part of the Justice System may not happen. So, when you can get the players who spam abilities in the bank to grow up and act like adults, maybe we can get that part of the Justice System.

Keep stringing the players along. Keep their hopes up. Keep dangling that carrot in front of them. Keep them paying $ for as long as possible.

Can you tell me where that statement came from? It might be a personal opinion of that representative which seems to happen a lot and is not necessarily the majority of the thoughts at ZOS.
I truly hope they implement the PvP as it would add a fresh element, but honestly what other MMO would allow you to steal and fence an item? Either way going to push a limit of what is allowed in an MMO.

It won't be in this version of ESO. Maybe with an expansion a couple years from now. They have to sell boxes....

If you don't get this message from what happened this week, you should try to take it into your head in a serious way. Everything about this game, no matter who told it to you, no matter who said it, is conditional. Nothing that you think you have been promised is assured to happen. The VR ranks might never leave the game. The justice system might never happen. There might not ever be another expansion or DLC of any kind. The only thing you can be sure of is that there will be a cash shop and that you can buy a wedding dress and ride a pig in the game if you are willing to pay for it.

I was kinda looking forward to a smaller scale pvp option. Im not a big fan of cyrodill.

And I hope they know the selling point of the justice system, the one thing that made people look forward to it, was the PvP. We don't care about having to sneak to take something from someone's desk, we care about being able to hunt down criminals or be a hunted criminal. I mean who cares about the justice system without PvP?

Oh please stop being so freaking naive. This will just be another fkover by ZOS. And they'l keep adding them to the pile, trust me. This game will go down as the biggest management disaster ever in MMO land and even worse treatment of customers than EA.

My concern is that they may pull the PvP aspect not because of technical considerations, but more so because they received feedback from a segment of players who don't wish to witness PvP anyplace where their PvE-only characters may be.

Heck, I know last year when we Psijic Order testers had discussions about dueling, I firmly came down on the side where I wanted duels to take place in their own instances where I didn't have to witness it other playes dueling. I felt that dueling would be disruptive for players trying to do their own thing.

Ideally, I'd like to have Justice System PvP participants phase out into their own instance to minimize disruption for non-participants. If that's not doable, I still want the PvP portion to be a part of this game and I'll be very disappointed if it's not.

I agree with @kevlarto_ESO that the PvP portion of the Justice System is a huge change to the game. I just hope ZOS isn't having second thoughts about altering the flavor of ESO to incorporate this style of play.
