On 1.7 Timing

I'm not sure why everyone is under the impression that 1.7 (assuming that's the patch which fully replaces VR with the Champion System) is going to be out months after the console release. The only thing the developers have said is that 1.6 will be the last patch before the console release. Here are a few things we know:
1. At release doesn't count as before, so if 1.7 coincides with the console version, that makes perfect sense.
2. We know that they plan on removing VR entirely.
3. Leaving VR in at release on the console would be entirely counter-intuitive. I'm not saying they couldn't do it, but it would make far more sense to use the console release as the fresh starting point for the revamped system.

✭✭✭Because at this point everyone is just fed up with ZOS and generally pessimistic regarding everything they say. And them keeping us in the dark like usual doesn't help(by that I mean they ought to have specific plans for 1.7 at this point, be it on console release or in ~2025, but doesn't look like they're sharing)
