ESO, will there be any additions to the console UI that will learn from quality of life add-ons?

Morning ZoS, just wondering if you could share some information about the console ui.

As someone who has tried to stray away from using too many add-ons that might tarnish my console experience when I transfer, I still found myself almost forced to download a few mods to help my quality of life in game.

Bank space/bag space is a nightmare to currently manage, and even with my 170 bag, 110 bank slots and 6 mules I still found it difficult to track what I should/should not keep.

Today there was a nice reddit post detailing how this can be a very frustrating experience to new players:

It would be nice to have a much cleaner/organized way to view our bags/bank.

Additionally some features, such as the "mark as junk" just seem.. Irrelevant. Once I fill up my 170 bag slots, I dread having to go through and sell all my 0 value style materials etc that I have already marked as junk like 100 times. Why are these items not always marked as junk once I choose that option?

The dustman add-on which allows you to permantly mark items as junk and autosell then when you hit a vendor would be a godsend for new and veteran players.

I am sure there are probably a ton of other useful add-ons that would make the game experience much less frustrating that could be incorporated I to the console ui.

Anyways, Im getting a little sidetracked.

Any information you could share regarding the console ui and if there have been any notable improvements over the PC ui? :)

I'm sure UI improvements to console only would never lead to an uproar among PC users who have been begging for improvements since beta. /sarcasm

Twitch interview discussed some UI improvements due to console, but I didn't catch if they would apply to both versions. 1.6 is supposed to hit PTS next week, so that may be where to at least answer PC UI changes.

Seems like ZOS would have to be very careful about mimicking popular add-ons for the UI. They'll have add-on authors up in arms if they steal good add-ons. There are surely legal or copyright issues involved, but I'm guessing about that.

Nope. Not in the least. The ZOS EULA states that add-ons become the IP of ZOS, specifically so they can do this:
All Customized Game Materials created by you are exclusively owned by ZeniMax and/or its licensors (as the case may be) and you hereby irrevocably assign and agree to assign to ZeniMax all of your right, title and interest in and to such Customized Game Materials. If applicable law precludes the assignment of all or any portion of your right, title and interest in and to Customized Game Materials, you hereby grant to ZeniMax to the fullest extent permitted by that applicable law a non-exclusive worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, under all of your intellectual property rights to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display and perform such Customized Game Materials and again to the fullest extent permitted by that applicable law you also waive and agree never to assert against ZeniMax, its affiliates and its/their customers any moral rights or similar rights that you may have in the Customized Game Materials.
