Since when are soulgems or potions, that serve a purpose other than just looking good considered "cosmetic".
Why are they going to be
purchased
in a shop for "cosmetic items only"?
Anyone?

They never said it was cosmetic items only, not even once. They've said since the reveal that it would be cosmetic
and
convenience items.

and after they realize, they wont sell that stuff if it isnt at least as good as ingame stuff, a lot of items will be considered "convenience" a few month down the road.
