Abandoned Lifting the Veil now can't re-start the quest

So I accidentally abandoned lifting the veil after I had gotten to the Veiled Heritance island and now I cant restart the quest. I have talked to the royal guards who originally gave it to me, I looked for raz-um dar but he is no longer in the throne room, I went back to mathilsen to see if he was by the armory but he wasnt.

Seeing as there is an achievement for this quest line I would really like to have some way to restart that quest in the case it is abandoned

I hope someone answers this soon! I'm just sitting around skywatch killing things hoping there will be some way to restart it.

Hi @TheLadyRae ,

You may be able to reaccept the quest by leaving the island. There is a tiny boat on the left side of the docks in Skywatch that will take you back across. There will be an NPC you can speak to upon arriving to restore the quest.

I can confirm that leaving the island, then taking the tiny unmarked boat from the dock back to the island will allow you to recieve the quest again from the NPC on the island

I'm having a similar problem. I abandoned the Lifting the Veil quest at the point where you're supposed to kill the people in the Veiled Keep. I know where Raz is but he's not active so talking to him is a no-go, and I know how to get back to the island but none of the NPCs will talk to me. Also, I don't have the earring anymore (so I can't destroy it) but I still change appearance when I get to the island.

Any thoughts folks? Just want to kill those guys and move on with my life!

Some players have been able to reaccept the quest by going to the island to the east of Skywatch. There is a tiny boat on the left side of the docks in Skywatch that will take you back across. There will be an NPC you can speak to upon arriving to restore the quest.

Hiya. Thanks for the response!

So I tried heading back to the island and I talk to the first NPC there, Palomir and he tells me how lucky I am but doesn't restart the quest. Unfortunately, when I try to talk to anyone else on the island or enter the Veil Keep that doesn't work either.
