I'm as up in arms about the B2P change as everyone but if this is going to happen why the hell are you not REWARDING those who are willing to keep paying?
Reading through the pay plan it seems like all we are going to get is what we got before plus the +10% to craft/money/exp (which I do NOT want). Where are things we could REALLY use like:
- More character slots
- Larger personal inventory
- Larger bank inventory
- Crafting bags
- More than the 30-70 measly CP for being V14
- More like 400 crowns per month we have already paid for.
And no, these should not be unlocked, even with gold. These should be given to us because Zenimax recognizes we are continuing to support THEM.

✭✭TBH I don't know why you're "up in arms". The change isn't going to affect me. I plan on continuing my sub. If you decide to keep subbing you are no better or worse off than you are now (you're actually gaining a little). My 2 coppers.5 -

Well I bolded and italicized the phrases in the op that should clarify the main argument. Inference from the wording suggests the OP has been a paying subscriber for quite some time, and feels entitled to a form of compensation exclusively available solely to his relative market grouping.
The only unfortunate aspect of his demands is that they ARE conditions that will provide an unfair advantage to paid subscribers, and unfortunately be considered a pay wall spiraling into the disgusting environment known as pay to win.
This is an intellectual property and although we purchased copies of the game, digitally or physically, we do not own the game nor the rights and entitlements to set terms and conditions upon how we experience the game. The past nine months have been paid for under the condition that they provide us the game for our $$$ and nothing more, so to demand future compensation based on past relationships that would put other players at a disadvantage is nothing short of corruption and an insult to the spirit of the community of fair play the developers are attempting to provide for us as consumers.
But I could be wrong and there might be some other underlying feelings I'm failing to observe here. Carry on.1 -

We are not allowed to flame in here and I don't want to be perceived as flaming - but anyone who says things like that post just makes me think: Sheeple.
My first week in before everything else that happened I am sure I would have felt the same.

I also love this game. I do not love SUDDEN BOMBS OUTLINING HUGE CHANGES DROPPED ON MY FACE.
I can see now that all the things that need addressing - that have been gone over and over in this forum will never be.
I see why they BSed us about the champion system changed and were silent on things so long, etc. - THEY KNEW AND KEPT IT QUIET. That is wrong.
I am feeling cheated by the tactics of the higher-ups in the company and I feel badly that the poor mod people are going to have to deal with soo much hooha over this - because I bet they didn't think it was a great idea to do it like this, either. Not that they can ever tell you that.

Calling people sheep and ignorant for being satisfied with what they paid for is just plain arrogance. If anything, you are the one who has allowed the capitalistic society to brain wash you into believing that you deserve more. No matter what you get, you'll never be happy because it's never enough. Then you throw every cliche arguement at those of us who are not miserable without any idea what those words actually mean. Wake up. Poor little human... Do you think that it's something new or avoidable... Let see... I started playing video game about 30 years ago... Did they have bug then... Yes... They the game always turn out like it was promised... No...
Fast forward to about 17 years ago UO came out. First MMO i played and the forum was full of doom and gloom... Yet the game still exist and still charge 12$ a month.
Game imbalance append and sorry but i do not think it will be gone soon. That is why adjustment in a MMO is something that must always be redone when they change skill or add new possibility. Even if they try to calculate everything, every option, they can't. Not with the short time the have.
An update breaking something already there? Geez is this your first MMO? I mean a stand alone game even AAA title can't not even at 100% create an update with a few hiccup or bug at lunch. Not even the almighty WoW after all these years can't do it with an 100% success rate. I still see post in the forum about lag, bug everything else yet one is about 11 years old with lots of million in the bank and other one is just a few month old...We are One0 -

SMH aka Shake My Head is a phrase similar to facepalm, meaning you disapprove. The only reason you could disapprove of someone who is happy with what they bought is because you feel entitled to more. It's amazing that all you peasants believe this game was not enough for the price you paid. Hundreds of hours of content. Over 20 zones, each containing enough content to last hours. Beautiful graphics, amazing voice acting, decent music, and the lore of TES on a mega server with all kinds of stuff to do, and you people feel like you didn't get enough. What a bunch of ungrateful (snip). And when anyone who actually sees the game for what it really is reminds you that this game was actually very good and worth every penny, you write them off as being an ignorant sheep. This is a short sighted point of view.
You will end up worse than you are now as the game will change around you.
When the devs goal is no longer quality but frequency of releases of content in order to sell them on the DLC store, you will feel the loss of quality.
When game mechanics will be changed in order to encourage sales on the cash shop, you will feel that too.
When the inevitable layoffs and change of pace of bugfixes will occur, you will feel it.
No mmos survived the change of model without becoming crippled by it. Subscription is the only reliable way of continuous improvement. Just look at Eve Online or early WoW.
