Question about ESO "Editions" and new subscription model

Previously, we either purchased the Imperial Edition or the Standard Edition of the game.

Question 1: With the new model, are there "Imperial" and "Standard" subscriptions? Will the game still know we have access to Imperial Horses, Imperial race, and ability to play any race in any faction?

Question 2: For the "starting" Crowns awarded for all previous months of subscription (100 per month), how many more Crowns will Imperial Edition owners get than Standard Edition owners? (150/mo? 200/mo?) Its obvious we should get more since we physically paid more for our edition. So, how much more?

    Hey there @onlinegamer1,

These questions are answered in our FAQ, which is located here.
    1. ESO Plus is an optional premium membership offered to players with the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. ESO Plus memberships will be offered in 30-, 90-, and 180-day durations.

Your Imperial/Explorer's pack benefits will remain on your account.
    2. As a current subscriber: If you are an active subscriber when The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited launches, you will receive 500 crowns for having a game account, plus 100 crowns for each 30-day period you have been an active subscriber. In addition, you'll be automatically enrolled in ESO Plus for the remainder of your subscription period. You'll receive the full benefits of membership, and 1500 crowns for each 30-day period remaining on your subscription. For example, if you have 30 days or less remaining, you will receive 1500 crowns. If you have between 30 and 60 days remaining, you will receive 3000 crowns. 60 to 90 days, 4500 crowns.

    1. Great
    2. How can you justify giving us the same starting Crowns when Imperial Edition users actually paid more money for our edition? Even if its 101 crowns/30-day period we've been active, it should be more since we PAID more.

Or, if that's too hard to implement, then 100/month + a flat bonus of X crowns for Imperial Edition.

Because you paid for the extras you got and you did not pay an increase in your subscription to do it. You paid the same sub fee that everyone else did, standard or imperial.

No. Just no. I'm an Imperial edition user (I bought the physical special edition that came with the awesome coffee table book and the statue of Molag Bal), and I say that no, we don't deserve to get more starting Crowns than other users.

Yes, we paid more initially. We paid more initially because we got more initially. Once the initial purchase was done, we paid the exact same as everyone else for our subscriptions. The Crowns we get at launch are based on how long we've been subscribers. We didn't pay any more for those subscriptions than anyone else, so we don't deserve to get more Crowns than anyone else. Period.

The sense of entitlement people have these days sickens me.

I agree. BUT.... is it too much to ask for at least the rainbow farting dragon mount for free but makes others buy it, since I got the Imperial edition? (Or is that the sense of entitlement you were talking about? If yes, then I will withdraw the request with a hearty :'( )
Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.

I think we DO get a farting flying something… well, at least a unique mount per the hint from Matt in the latest vid.

It's probably the white imperial mount
That which we obtain to cheap we esteem to lightly, it is dearness only that gives everything its value.
