✭✭✭Duing one of the two most recent PTS releases (either 4 or 5), the PTS went down on a Thursday/Friday and was down all weekend. When it came back up after the weekend, the new update was ready for testing.
That could be happening here. Or they could simply be copying over characters in preparation for next week's update. We'll have a better idea if the PTS is accessible with 1.5.2 again later today.Edited by LonePirate on January 22, 2015 5:02PM0 -

Hi everyone! Today, we will be performing a character copy of the European megaserver (as of 1/22/15). No new patch will be implemented at this time. PTS Maintenace is always on a Monday unless it's for character copies such as this. The maintenance currently is just preparation for 1.6, with a PTS release on Monday, with probably a live release in the third week of February.Neizir Stormstrider

Where are you getting this timeline? Are you projecting or did someone specify those times? All I have seen for 1.6 PTS is next week, which Monday falls under and they generally do updates and maintenance on Monday but haven't heard that specified.
Thanks to the people who linked or posted information from other threads. I am not sure why they seem focused on copying the EU server but doesn't really matter I guess.

They waited to do an EU copy last time with 1.5 until it was a bit late in the process (if I remember correctly), so they are doing a copy now, then a copy of NA just before 1.6 launches, then in about a week, they'll do another copy of EU.Merrak | Templar Main
