Yep and that is why I'm saying I un-subbed and asked why would I want to keep playing? I can't answer that and hopefully ZOS can figure out what to say to others as well. I will just move on to something else then I'll see what it is like after.

Toxic? That is just plain silly. It is a perfectly legit question. It's "toxic" responses like this why I tend to stay away forums. I have a question and this is the only outlet for it. I'm on a Mac version with a broken feedback button that has been broken the entire time I played. So I'm forced to come here into this area and ask a question in hopes of an actual response.

The feckin' Title is, "I unsubscribed"! That's the definition of an "I Quit" thread. They'll either lock it or outright delete it. No company is going to answer a question framed in this manner on a public forum. For you to think they would or even should just shows the utter depth of your lack of comprehension.

I am gonna keep subbing because I enjoy/love the game. When I no longer enjoy the game I will unsub and do something else. What I wont do is come to the forums and let everyone know that I quit.

i can see why you would think it shady, it does seem like we have been paying all this time to help develop the game for console. with that said, i do not see this as being a big deal, IF they stick to what they are saying. its B2P not F2P, people still need to spend $60 to play it, plus spend more money for future DLC's. it isn't going to be P2W since the shop will be cosmetic and will have no items to give someone an advantage in game. The people that have been paying from day 1 will get something no other player will have, and if they keep paying the will get perks that no one else will get...seems like a win win to me. they are trying to make everyone happy.

Can we trust them to stick to their word though? They don't have a good track record for honesty

They have always maintained since day one that they do not like pay gates or a P2W system. so, for right now i think we can trust them..if they do end up going back on their word. I will stop playing the game and not lose a moments sleep over it. it wont be the end of the world..at least to me anyway, this isnt the only game in the world

Its already got soul gems and potions, that's hardly cosmetic, and while soul gems/potions aren't p2w, they are something that should be grinded for. But this is day one, what about 6 months down the line, what will be in the store then that we're used to grinding for? How about a year down the line. This is why people are upset, they've seen this beaten path before, and the future isn't looking good for the game they really had hope in.

And of course it has become clear that was ZOS says today can completely change tomorrow. People's trust has been betrayed and its hard to have confidence in a company once that's happened.

they have stated that the soul gems and potions are of the same quality as the ones you can already buy from a vender, the strongest ones in game will be the ones that can be made by a player..players could buy those items since day 1 without grinding, i see no difference what so ever. if it ever changes that it does become P2W..i will just move on.

There are already almost unlimited standard potions and soul gems in the game. As long as they don't sell the best potions, I have no problems with that.

I like the small time savers and cosmetic things they are adding, so I will be paying the sub.

I never play any pay to win games, but I always like to spend money for B2P or F2P games. If the game is good and I am given option, if I will use money or not, I am always happy to spend.

I guess it all goes down to if you have more money or free time. +10% exp and +10% gold saves a bit of my time, but others with more time to play (but no money) can easily catch me and go even past me.
